βΉοΈβΉοΈ dear readers so it appears that Dom 64 is convinced the spiritual gifts also known as the gifts of the Spirit are for brethren only in 1st Corinthians 12:1
" Women are not part of the Body of Christ which is the Church. Paul wrote, "Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant...For by one Spirit are we [the brethren] all baptized into ONE BODY, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free...Now ye [brethren] are the BODY OF CHRIST" (1 Cor. 12:1, 13, 27)
Paul does not here include "male or female" when writing of spiritual gifts of those in the Body of Christ, because what he writes only pertains to the brethren "
π€π€ but what does the bible say what's the real transliteration and practical application
Sometimes, the translation of a text makes subtle changes in gender-related words. For example, the King James Version of John 1:12 says, βAs many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God.β However, the English word sons, a masculine word, replaces a neuter word in the Greek; a better translation is ππππππ βchildren of God,β which is how the King James 2000 has it
many Bible translations in recent years have adopted a more gender-neutral wording. For example, 1 Thessalonians 4:1 is translated as βbrothers and sisters, we instructed you how to live in order to please Godβ (NIV), even though the word for βsistersβ is not in the Greek text. The translators added βand sistersβ in the interest of gender neutrality.
π€π€ does the insertion of and sisters result in a less exact rendering of the Greek text ββ Yes, it does. ππππππ but since Paul was obviously writing to the entire church (which included sisters in Christ) βͺ the inclusion of and sisters does no damage to the intent of this particular passage. π‘π‘Godβs Word is not distorted by such a modification. Using more generic words such as people, parents, and descendants instead of man, father, and sons may help eliminate confusion, avoid misunderstandings, and avert unnecessary offense in modern times
ππ―π So are christian sisters of the church eligible for the gifts of the Spirit ββ you bet they are ββ
so a better translation of 1 Corinthians 12:1 for instance is found in the Christian Standard Bible as well as some other modern translations
" now concerning spiritual gifts: β οΈbrothers and sisters β οΈ I do not want you to be unaware "

No such thing as male or female in Christ as we are one in him. Galations 3:28. When John wrote in John 1:12 "as many as received him..." both male and female no difference in Christ we are one and not many.
The gifts Paul talked about is an extention on Mark 16:17-18. Now that Paul was on the scene he expanded those gifts even more according to what the Holy Ghost taught him as he laboured more then the apostles 1st Cor 15:10. Those gifts are not for sinners, they are for the righteous the ex-sinners saved by grace Romans 6:18. I am an ex-sinner saved by grace for 26 years and an ex-sinner is no longer a sinner but a righteous person. All sin is of the devil period 1st John 3:8 all sinners will burn Romans 6:23 as it pays to sin your payment or wage to sin is death hell fire and brimstone. God and Father does not hear the prayers uttered by sinners John 9:31. No such verses or scriptures you sin because you are of God or Jesus, you sin because you are a servant of the devil period and Jesus came to make people free from sin and not create a new type of sinner called Christian sinners.
Women not speaking in the church was long before we had a full bible. They had the book of the law but not a full bible like we do today. Paul had to wait on the Holy Ghost same with Peter and John, that was their tape recorder the comforter which brought all things to their rememberence John 14:26. Now today we have a full bible women are allowed to speak under the authority of the man.

"FEMALES, of course, can be born again and have the Spirit of Christ in them and they can be in the Spirit of Christ, and they CAN HAVE SPIRITUAL GIFTS, but they are not in the Body of Christ which is altogether masculine.
Pay attention to the article LittleDavid and you will see you haven't refuted anything!

Aren't you glad you are a good sister in Christ??? Yes, a good sister, Male or female no difference at all as we are one and no such thing as male or female Jew or Greek in Christ Col 3:11. The verses you are using are out of context as we have a full bible and when you are not one in Christ you will act like a Greek or Jew Male and Female under sin. The situation has changed since Paul's day we have a full bible the Apostle Paul did not.
Galations 3:[28] There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Col 3: 10] And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
[11] Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.
Romans 10:12] For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

Yes, the body of Christ is Masculine, however you forgot one thing, we are to be the bride of Christ. A glorious church the body of Christ without spot (sin) or (wrinkle). You woukdn't marry something that has all kinds of diseases and wrinkles snd on their last breath. We are to be found without spot blemish and wrinkle. James 5:7 talks about Jesus as the husband man. Paul talks about in Romans 7:4 to be married to Christ. Not in the carnal but spiritual.
Romans 7:4] Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
2nd Cor 11:2] For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.
[3] But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
Ephesians 5:23] For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
[24] Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
[25] Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
[26] That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
[27] That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
[28] So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
James 5:7] Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Put Romans 7:4 and James 5:7 together. Both are talking about the same thing to be married and bring forth fruit.
Romans 7:4] Wherefore, my brethren, ye also are become dead to the law by the body of Christ; that ye should be married to another, even to him who is raised from the dead, that we should bring forth fruit unto God.
James 5:7] Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
