Posted : 21 Nov, 2021 08:30 AM In Acts 5 verses 1 - 11, we have a man Ananias, and his wife Saphira,they sold a piece of property which they brought a part of the money to the apostles. Ananias, and his wife conspired to hold back some of the money, then lied about that. The man, and his wife died after lying about the matter. The 501C3 tax exemption has the same ramifications in the lives of the 'Christians'. When the 'christians' give an offering to the 501C3 business 'called' 'church', do they give with an open hand not expecting anything in return,OR do they want a reciept when it is time to do their taxes. When a BELIEVER gives anything to anyone in this life, even GOD Almighty, it should always be with an open hand, not looking for anything in return. The people give, wanting to claim that on their taxes to get a break with the IRS. The people CONSPIRE with the IRS, to get money back from what they had given the previous year, did not Ananias and Saphire display the same spirit. People might say, Ananias and Saphira died, and that has not happened since. Yes they died Physically, but there are two types of death, physical and Spiritual. Look at the condition of the 501C3 tax exempt businsess called 'church', there is SPIRITUAL DEATH within the walls of that ORGANIZATION,and the people are BLIND to this. The Holy Spirit does not manifest His life, or presence as He once had done, MIRACLES,SIGNS and WONDERS because He is GRIEVED with the UNBELIEF of the 'christians' as the real GOSPEL is not being proclaimed. Acts 5 verses 1-11 1 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge, he kept back some of the proceeds for himself, but brought a portion and laid it at the apostles’ feet. 3 Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and withhold some of the proceeds from the land? 4 Did it not belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How could you conceive such a deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God!” 5 On hearing these words, Ananias fell down and died. And great fear came over all who heard what had happened. 6 Then the young men stepped forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him. 7 About three hours later his wife also came in, unaware of what had happened. 8 “Tell me,” said Peter, “is this the price you and your husband got for the land?” “Yes,” she answered, “that is the price.” 9 “How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?” Peter replied. “Look, the feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out also.” 10 At that instant she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her husband. 11 And great fear came over the whole church and all who heard about these events. Post Reply

Both the 501Cs and Anaias and Saphira want to keep back part of what is given to GOD Almighty. Post Reply
