Should christians participate in trick or treat?

I would say that it’s fine. I know Halloween is the devil’s holiday, but I also believe that the devil doesn’t really deserve to have a holiday. So I say just take it and make a mockery of it by giving out candy, decorating your house with the sillier looking Halloween decorations, like the ones that make it look a little witch flew her broom right smack in the wall outside your house, and dressing kids up as cute little things like Buzz Lightyear, or a little puppy, or Donald Trump. Yes we should avoid the things of the world, but we don’t need to make this day a day for Satan and his angels. And besides if we’re christians we don’t have to worry about any of that. You got the Lord there protecting you from those things. The devil can pick at you a little bit, but if keep walking with the Father then everything will be fine. You don’t have to worry. Just take the devil’s toys from him, make it into something else and laugh at him.

Hey there Morgan!

Your very confusing to readers and contradicting yourself dude! If by your logic and reasoning you 'believe' and you are convicted (you say you 'know' it is in your own words) that 'halloween is the devil’s holiday' which of COURSE it IS SATANIC, then why participate in the PAGAN so called 'holiday'??? Does not the Bible say you cannot serve to masters, both YHWH and satan? For you will hate the one and love the other? Why do you ALWAYS captalize 'halloween' in your above statement here, do you think the devils favorite day and obvious annual festival is worthy of respect and honor??? Does made up 'Buzz Lightyear' get more respect than REAL 'little puppies' in life in your continual capitalization of things and pets??? You say to 'avoid the things of the world' and then participate in them??? Talk about double standards, confusion and contradictions dude! Its like saying you know to avoid smoking cigs but you don't need to claim you are actually smoking them, participating in them, right?

You claim YHWH's 'protection' while entertaining demons??? You allow the devil to 'pick at you a little bit' with his so called 'holiday' you honor by capitalizing it, then participate in it and claim your also 'walking' with the 'Lord'??? What your really saying is the devil is on your one side and YHWH is on the other and you just have to get along with both of them, keep both of them happy, right? Then you say 'everything will be fine' and don't 'worry' about serving two friends and masters!?

In closing you claim you can 'take (the) devil’s toys ('halloween PAGAN celebration event') from him' >>>and<<< 'make it into something else' and hilariously Christianize it??? Really Morgan!? So who's doing the now, you or satan as you continue to keep and honor his so called 'holiday' which is nothing but evil!!! How long will you try to sit on the fence Morgan and eventually fall to one side in either judgment or salvation some day???

Many Non Christians live for the devil every day!

So if they celebrate halloween, it's just another day of Worldly minded living.

Christians celebrate living for the Lord everyday, including on nalloween.

FlatTeddy, just because you can’t understand Morgan’s well written and easy to read thread doesn’t mean other readers are equally as dull.

FlatEarthTeddy, who can hardly write a logically coherent post, now offers a haphazard and incoherent critique about Morgan’s post.

What is TOTALLY alien to logic is a fallacy-bound FlatEarthTeddyBug suddenly making appeals to logic‼️‼️‼️

TeddyBug, since you’re criticizing Morgan’s logic, let’s see if you can identify and explain which law of logic Morgan violated⁉️⁉️⁉️⁉️

Teddy, I fail to see how giving out candy to children and taking them trick or treating is entertaining demons. Now if someone was putting spells on the candy (which I don’t believe people can do nowadays and anyone that claims that they can is a freak) then I can see how it can be entertaining to demons, but just dressing kids up in cheap non scary costumes and giving them candy, that’s not satanic. Now if people murder little babies every single Halloween (which I think they use to do) that is satanic. But the trick or treating part of it is innocent. The only thing I don’t really like about trick or treating is the kids are rotting their teeth whenever they eat that sugary, sticky candy. Instead of giving them so much of that junk I say give them toothpaste, a toothbrush and some dental floss. The children might tp your house, but it would at least be kind of funny and you would get free toilet paper, which would be pretty useful nowadays.

well I'm not American but I believe we should not be entertaining demons, its a foolish event and for many such lighthearted foolishness is ok but from little things big things grow so it is wise to keep the door closed and not let the enemy in . for the overwhelming majority of people the event will come and go but for others it is an opportunity for the enemy to ensnare them and that is who the enemy is fishing for.
