Should christians participate in trick or treat?Posted : 30 Oct, 2021 09:57 PMI would say that it’s fine. I know Halloween is the devil’s holiday, but I also believe that the devil doesn’t really deserve to have a holiday. So I say just take it and make a mockery of it by giving out candy, decorating your house with the sillier looking Halloween decorations, like the ones that make it look a little witch flew her broom right smack in the wall outside your house, and dressing kids up as cute little things like Buzz Lightyear, or a little puppy, or Donald Trump. Yes we should avoid the things of the world, but we don’t need to make this day a day for Satan and his angels. And besides if we’re christians we don’t have to worry about any of that. You got the Lord there protecting you from those things. The devil can pick at you a little bit, but if keep walking with the Father then everything will be fine. You don’t have to worry. Just take the devil’s toys from him, make it into something else and laugh at him. |

Should christians participate in trick or treat?Posted : 31 Oct, 2021 07:54 PMTeddy, I fail to see how giving out candy to children and taking them trick or treating is entertaining demons. Now if someone was putting spells on the candy (which I don’t believe people can do nowadays and anyone that claims that they can is a freak) then I can see how it can be entertaining to demons, but just dressing kids up in cheap non scary costumes and giving them candy, that’s not satanic. Now if people murder little babies every single Halloween (which I think they use to do) that is satanic. But the trick or treating part of it is innocent. The only thing I don’t really like about trick or treating is the kids are rotting their teeth whenever they eat that sugary, sticky candy. Instead of giving them so much of that junk I say give them toothpaste, a toothbrush and some dental floss. The children might tp your house, but it would at least be kind of funny and you would get free toilet paper, which would be pretty useful nowadays. |

Should christians participate in trick or treat?Posted : 31 Oct, 2021 10:15 PMwell I'm not American but I believe we should not be entertaining demons, its a foolish event and for many such lighthearted foolishness is ok but from little things big things grow so it is wise to keep the door closed and not let the enemy in . for the overwhelming majority of people the event will come and go but for others it is an opportunity for the enemy to ensnare them and that is who the enemy is fishing for. |
