What kind of fruit did Adam and Eve take a bite of?

The Bible really doesn’t say what type of fruit it is. It could have been an apple, an orange, maybe even a cherry, possibly a banana, or maybe a paw paw. Or it could be possible that the tree had fruit that we’ve never seen before. It could have been something that just grew on that one tree. Either way, it’s something I often wonder about. It’s not really an important issue, but it’s something I do like to think about sometimes.

It was forbidden to eat, by God, so that's all that was important.

Just a thought

Many people do not follow Jesus teachings and then they except anything that will lead them astray.

Whatever the actual fruit, the tree was called the of tree good and evil. The penalty for eating from it meant death!!

The temptation account of Adam and Eve also highlights the very first human encounter with the arch-deceiver and first false teacher—--none other than Satan himself, the “father of lies.

He came to Eve under cover, he was very friendly and came disguised as a harmless reptile!!

He craftily tried to “enlighten” Eve about what God really meant when God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat from the tree.

Finally Satan convinced Eve that God really didn’t mean she would “die” if she ate from the tree. Instead of dying, according the Serpent (Satan), she would actually “become like God, knowing good and evil”.

Satan deceitfulness was so convincing that Eve decided to eat with confidence!!

Satan had soundly convinced Eve the fruit would actually make her wise and she also would “be like God knowing good and evil!!” Eve then encouraged her husband to eat also and he listened to her and ate!!!

Many wonder why Adam, who was not deceived, did not correct or remind Eve about the spoken Word of God that directly commanded Adam NOT to eat from that tree!!
