Two practical instances that would require a guilt offering are described in Leviticus 19:20–22 a man sleeping with a slave who is engaged to another man and Numbers 6:9to12 a Nazarite who accidentally violates his vows. This offering should not be confused with the sin offering. The trespass/guilt offering was required when a person unintentionally violated some of the Lord’s holy things. “Holy things” would normally refer to things that had been dedicated to the Lord—anything from the sanctuary itself to the portion of the offerings that were normally reserved for the priests. How this could happen inadvertently is not spelled out, but perhaps a person forgot to fulfill a vow, made some mistake in the fulfilling of it, accidently ate food that was reserved for the priests, or mistakenly ate a firstborn animal from his own flock. In these cases the offender had to bring a sacrificial animal an unblemished ram or male lamb to offer and also compensate the priests an extra 20 percent for what they had been deprived. The priests and Levites were the recipients of many of the offerings that were offered to the Lord—this was the provision that the Lord made for their support as they had no land of their own. The offender could also bring, instead of an animal, the price of the animal in silver. When a person with a very sensitive perhaps oversensitive conscience thought that he might have sinned against holy property, he could bring the trespass/guilt offering “just in case,” but in that situation no restitution was made to the priests The trespass offering was also brought when a person had committed a violation against another person. In this case the offender had to repay damages plus 20 percent in addition to making the animal sacrifice In a trespass offering, the ram or male lamb was slaughtered; the blood was splashed on the altar, and some of the blood was applied to the right ear lobe, right thumb, and right big toe of the one making the offering. Then oil was applied to the same places, and the head of the one making the offering was anointed. Most of the sacrificial animal was burned; however, the priests were able to eat some portions while they were in the sanctuary The trespass or guilt offering is primarily about making reparations. It demonstrates the seriousness of violations against God (even accidental ones) and against one’s fellow man. An atoning sacrifice has to be made before God, and restitution has to be made to man. The trespass offering was a bloody demonstration of atonement and reconciliation, but it was also a demonstration of grace as provision was made for reparations for the wrongdoing. This Old Testament sacrifice was not the final solution. It pointed to the ultimate sacrifice of Christ by which sinners can be restored to fellowship with God and with each other Hebrews 9:15 " for this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance — now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant " Post Reply

What kind of sacrificial animals were then offered for sacrifice that were also unblemished (PERFECT and representing the Messiah Yah'shua that all those animal sacrifices pointed forward too! ) ram or male lamb to offer! You fail to tell your readers that those animal sacrifices were ONLY CLEAN animals offered, like those taken on the ark before the flood and also offered after the flood! Just think readers, if Noah and family was to eat just ONE male or female of the UNCLEAN animals on the ark, then we would not have any HOGS and or FILTHY SWINE today found in the PAGAN ROMAN grocery stores for PAGAN rsvp to eat! Correct? But just as Noah and company NEVER ate unclean animals, then, nor did the priests or the people but ONLY daily RIGHTEOUS food according to the Torah Law! Sooooo ONLY CLEAN animals like lambs, rams etc (representing Messiah Yah'shua the PERFECT CLEAN lamb of YHWH!) were offered for sacrifice! Secondly note how rsvp leaves out CONTEXT in Leviticus chapter 19 and begins in verse 20 and stops at verse 22??? There is a reason for his CULT teaching of OMISSION because verse 26 says the priests or the people must not EVER eat the blood of animals but fails to point out these sins are offered in PAGAN ROMAN grocery stores today in BLOODY MEATS and so called 'christians' are eating these ABOMINATIONS in 'cooked' blood! YICKS! But that is not all rsvp leaves out about the SANCTUARY offerings and THE TIMING of events, that he does not want to address in that SAME chapter 19 because verse 30 says - Ye shall >>>KEEP<<< my Sabbaths, and reverence my SANCTUARY; I am (that I am YHWH!) the MASTER (over all!).... Thirdly why is it dear readers rsvp does not tell you WHO the SANCTUARY is today in the New Covenant (agreement) because the earthly made of STONE building where the Ark of the Covenant in the temple was, no longer exist of the Old Covenant (agreement) and its >>>location<<< but is now in a >>>New Location,<<< written NOT in stone tablets (Ten Commandments) by the very finger of YHWH and placed in His earthly Temple building with the Ark anymore but now written in the fleshy 'tablets' of our hearts AS THE NEW COVENANT BASED UPON THE OLD COVENANT IN A NEW LOCATION!!! Can you believe this rsvp leaving out all the important things in what the Bible teaches us about the Messiah Yah'shua being ONLY a CLEAN offering (sinless!) and the animals of old were ONLY CLEAN kinds of animals offered that pointed forward to the coming Messiah Yah'shua, keeping in mind all those animals sacrifices NEVER paid the price of sins anyway but bought time to when He would come, those animals sacrifices represented the ugliness of sin that causes DEATH to the sinner likewise! Not 'eternal life' in a fire made one day according to false teacher rsvp, which is another subject of his false CULT teachings! BUTTTTTT thankfully about 2000 years ago, YHWH the Father came up with the " puuuuurfect " solution on WHERE He wanted to have His written Torah Law today in New Testament time on each individual believer and set that example for us by His set apart self, His WORD made flesh called His Son, when He came in the flesh and died for us, so that we have that second chance to obey His Government and Laws!
