Be kind, be giving, be everything opposite to the selfish talk, which serves itself and not Christ.. Jesus shows us the way, always giving when asked, to do in the same way we like to be done to us, because sinners do by selfishness, do by deceitful means, wen Gods ways are above their ways, to be merciful always, and this then is the way above evils way.. Luke 6:30 Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. 36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful. Evil is like some persecuting swarm of flies or hornets, but water washes them away, and we know that God has the final word, and we will be judged, whether we did well or did evils way. Mercy rejoices against judgement, nothing else, and why we are to believe in being merciful as God is, and not merciless and selfish as evil has us to be. Faith is good, and the words we are told are real actions, and faithlessness is when we do actions too, but when they are for ourselves.. James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. 13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment. 14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, 16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit? No profit when we seek to profit ourselves, and no love of God in he heart that is shut to others, and talk helps nothing but our own vanity.. 1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? The excuse given for their false prophecies has been to quote Proverbs 4:18, which says, “But the path of the righteous ones is like the bright light that is getting lighter and lighter until the day is firmly established.” Whether or not the “light gets brighter” or not does not change the fact that the Watchtower made false prophecies. 👉👉 The Bible says in Deut. 18:20-22, “‘However, the prophet who presumes to speak in my name a word that I have not commanded him to speak or who speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die. And in case you should say in your heart: “How shall we know the word that Jehovah has not spoken?” When the prophet speaks in the name of Jehovah and the word does not occur or come true, that is the word that Jehovah did not speak . . . ” Question: If the New World Translation (NWT) condemns false prophesying and states that it is proof that God is not speaking through that prophet, then doesn’t this prove that the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society is not speaking for God? The Name of God Question: Why does the NWT insert the word Jehovah in the New Testament when there are absolutely no Greek manuscripts that have it in there? Isn’t this playing with the text? In the book, “Salvation,”2 (a Watchtower Publication) it says, “At San Diego, California, there is a small piece of land, on which, in the year 1929, there was built a house, which is known as Beth-Sarim. The Hebrew words Beth Sarim mean “House of the Princes”; and the purpose of acquiring that property and building the house was that there might be some tangible proof that there are those on earth today who fully believe God and Christ Jesus and in His kingdom, and who believe that the faithful men of old will soon be resurrected by the Lord, be back on earth, and take charge of the visible affairs of earth. The title to Beth-Sarim is vested in the Watchtower Bible & Tract Society in trust, to be used by the president of the Society and his assistants for the present, and thereafter to be forever at the disposal of the aforementioned princes on earth [italic added] . . . while the unbelievers have mocked concerning it and spoken contemptuously of it, yet it stands there as a testimony to Jehovah’s name; and if and when the princes do return and some of them occupy the property, such will be a confirmation of the faith and hope that induced the building of Beth-Sarim.” Question: This place was sold in 1942 after Rutherford’s death. Therefore, it appears that the faithful were misled since the house was to “be forever at the disposal of the aforementioned princes.” Is this really a testimony to Jehovah’s name as it said? How can it be if they sold the house? The Watchtower organization states that Jesus died on a stake and not a cross. The typical Watchtower representation of this is with Jesus on a single vertical stake – hands over his head with a single nail in his wrists. If Jesus were crucified on a cross, then two nails would be necessary, one in each hand. How then does the Watchtower organization handle the verse in the Bible that states that Jesus had nails (plural) in his hands: “Consequently the other disciples would say to him: ‘We have seen the Lord!” But he said to them: “unless I see in his hands the print of the nails and stick my finger into the print of the nails and stick my hand into his side, I will certainly not believe,'” (John 20:25, NWT) Question: Jesus had one nail in each hand. This is made clear by the use of the word ‘nails’ not ‘nail.’ Jesus must have been crucified on a cross and not a stake as the Watchtower organization teaches. Why is it, then, that the Watchtower teaches something that is so clearly unbiblical? Post Reply

Didn’t want to be misunderstood. My comments were intended as a poke at Adam’s penchant for inexcusably being so far off target theologically that he’s shooting backwards.
