the c u l t s get a lot of things wrong and Islam is no different. In the quotes below the muslim erringly believe that the bible teaches that the God of Isaac Jacob and Abraham Jesus Christ is bound to human limitations and must sleep in order to function properly ; this supposedly denies the divinity of Jesus Christ and proves that sllah of Islam is the true God



Does God Sleep?

Bible says:

Psalm 78:65

Then the Lord awoke as from sleep,

as a man wakes from the stupor of wine.

Psalm 44:23

Awake, O Lord! Why do you sleep?

Rouse yourself! Do not reject us forever.



Quran says:

Surah 2:255

Allah! There is no Allah save Him, the Alive, the Eternal. Neither slumber nor sleep overtaketh Him.



" Would you rather worship the God of the bible who sleeps just like us human beings or worship a God that does not sleep because He never gets tired? That being the only true God, the God that revealed the Glorious Quran."



So let's use Mark 4:38 to help straighten this out for the record

" But He was in the stern, asleep on a pillow "



Jesus’ true humanity is shown by His brief sleep on the boat.

this doesn't mean that Jesus was not God but he was obeying his limitations as a man; Jesus has two natures: divine and human. This is called the hypostatic union. But that does not mean he stopped governing the universe while he was asleep Colossians 1:16 amplified Bible "........all things were created and exist through Him [that is, by His activity] and for Him "



secondly think of all the worries that might have kept Jesus awake. He could worry about the religious and political leaders who plotted against Him. He could worry about His family who thought He was crazy. He could worry about the overwhelming crowds with their overwhelming needs. He could worry about the disciples He chose. He could worry about the future, because He knew what His destiny was. With all these things to worry about, Jesus wasn’t worried. He slept in a rocking boat



the Lord’s sleep was not only the sleep of weariness: it was also the rest of faith. , for there is a rest of faith as well as a watch of faith



so actually this doesn't brood too well for allah seems the only god that lacks divinity and asleep @ the wheel if you will unable to.physically manifest himself and have fellowship with his creation like Jesus does with us



then again who orders allah carte anyway?
