What did Jesus mean when He said God is able to raise up children from stones ?
Regarding repentance also ?
Luke 3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.
Easy answer, God takes the stony heart out of man, gives man an heart of flesh, to then keep the statutes and ordinances of God, and as for the heart of those who walk after the heart of their abominations, God recompenses their ways onto their own heads..
Ezekiel 11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord God.
Continuing on the stones creating children to God, He also cleanses us with clean water to be cleaned away from idols, giving the new heart and new Spirit, and taking this stony heart away so we walk in the Lord's statutes and do them..
Ezekiel 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.
26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.
Regarding the ones who continue to walk after their detestable things, they have in common with this fellow below.
Laviathan the crooked serpent. Job 26:13.....
Job 41:1 Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down?
None can stir this guy up, here again is the example of Michael ( our one and only Prince who the antichrist on the forum has confirmed denies this is the Lord Jesus Christ who is Michael)
Michael says to satan, the Lord rebuke thee, and the Lord said unto satan, the Lord rebuke thee......
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Zechariah 3:2 And the Lord said unto Satan, The Lord rebuke thee, O Satan; even the Lord that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee: is not this a brand plucked out of the fire?
Back here, nobody can open the doors of the tight mouth and ways of satan the dragon, ( leviathan) his scales are tightly shut up pride ( to refuse to hear what is right from the Lord) but satan as the angel of light shines his light, his eyelids of the morning (lucifer son of the morning) he turns contrary against God of sorrow into joy, and his flesh is hard as stone ( hard heart) to not be moved by compassion, the heart is firm as a stone as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.....
Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Job 41:10 None is so fierce that dare stir him up: who then is able to stand before me?
11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.
12 I will not conceal his parts, nor his power, nor his comely proportion.
13 Who can discover the face of his garment? or who can come to him with his double bridle?
14 Who can open the doors of his face? his teeth are terrible round about.
15 His scales are his pride, shut up together as with a close seal.
16 One is so near to another, that no air can come between them.
17 They are joined one to another, they stick together, that they cannot be sundered.
18 By his neesings a light doth shine, and his eyes are like the eyelids of the morning.
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out.
20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron.
21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.
22 In his neck remaineth strength, and sorrow is turned into joy before him.
23 The flakes of his flesh are joined together: they are firm in themselves; they cannot be moved.
24 His heart is as firm as a stone; yea, as hard as a piece of the nether millstone.
This devil is king over all hardened children of pride, without fear and we understand now that nothing can move the dragon nor his children of pride...
Job 41:25 When he raiseth up himself, the mighty are afraid: by reason of breakings they purify themselves.
26 The sword of him that layeth at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the habergeon.
27 He esteemeth iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.
28 The arrow cannot make him flee: slingstones are turned with him into stubble.
29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laugheth at the shaking of a spear.
30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreadeth sharp pointed things upon the mire.
31 He maketh the deep to boil like a pot: he maketh the sea like a pot of ointment.
32 He maketh a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.
33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.
34 He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.
But the Lord who raises children from stones and lets others continue on in stony hearts, punishes the crooked serpent leviathan, and slays the dragon in the sea...
Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that is in the sea.
Taking hold of the Lords strength is how the devil is defeated, against the devils counsel, the Lord God makes a vineyard by red wine( the blood of the Lamb) and waters us every moment, keeps us and the piercing serpent cannot do any hurt, God keeps what is His night and day ( no they do not sometimes be unkept, satans speakers) and by this the sin and iniquity of Jacob us purged by filling the world with fruit( no thorns or briers/sins)..
Isaiah 27:2 In that day sing ye unto her, A vineyard of red wine.
3 I the Lord do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
4 Fury is not in me: who would set the briers and thorns against me in battle? I would go through them, I would burn them together.
5 Or let him take hold of my strength, that he may make peace with me; and he shall make peace with me.
6 He shall cause them that come of Jacob to take root: Israel shall blossom and bud, and fill the face of the world with fruit.
Isaiah 27:9 By this therefore shall the iniquity of Jacob be purged; and this is all the fruit to take away his sin; when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in sunder, the groves and images shall not stand up.
Continuing, the people who God places His law into their hearts ( new covenant) know righteousness, and the revilings of men with hardened foreheads are not to matter at all,( it would be strange if they did not revile and contradict and blaspheme)
Notice, the dragon was wounded, drying the sea and the people passed over ( the dragon was in the sea and cold not harm them/.wounded)
The redeemed come to Zion and sorrow passes away...
Isaiah 51:7 Hearken unto me, ye that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear ye not the reproach of men, neither be ye afraid of their revilings.
8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Art thou not it that hath cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
10 Art thou not it which hath dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that hath made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
11 Therefore the redeemed of the Lord shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
Thew dragon recovered, as the sea came together again, and the dragon gave power to the beast who rises up out of the sea...
Revelation 13:1 And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.
The beast then begins its blasphemy and the people do worship the beast( remember in hardened hearts by the deceitfulness of sin/the devil is thast man of sin)...
Revelation 13:2 And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.
3 And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.
4 And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who is like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?
5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.
As said, they make their hearts as an adamant stone, to never acknowledge that there is a law of Christ written in the heart, sent by the Spirit of God, no longer in stone, the only way God speaks to anyone is in soft fleshy tables of the heart.
The sinners perish, the doers are justified, showing the work of the law written in their hearts and their good conscience bearing witness all the time..
Zechariah 7:12 Yea, they made their hearts as an adamant stone, lest they should hear the law, and the words which the Lord of hosts hath sent in his spirit by the former prophets: therefore came a great wrath from the Lord of hosts.
2 Corinthians 3:3 Forasmuch as ye are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
Romans 2:12 For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law;
13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)

Yet another fringe and false post by No-Anawer-Adam thread.
First of all, Satan is NOT the Leviathan mentioned in the verses quoted out of context from the book of Job by No-Answer-Adam. (quoting out of context must be Adam’s favorite quote method)
And the Archangel Micheal is NOT the same person as the Lord Jesus
