Somebody just chewed me out because I don't believe that the King James Bible is infallible these people are called KJV onlyists and they get downright cultic about it but the fact is
the King James Bible has also undergone NUMEROUS changes and corrections since it was first printed in 1611. The KJV Bible we have today is not only different from the 1611 version in the corrections made, but the Old English language it was written in is SO different from ours today it is almost hard to believe it is the same Bible at times. I want to show just a few of these changes that have been made from the 1611 version to the version we use today. The verses I will be using from the 1611 version will be exactly as they appear from the copy I have sitting here with me. I am not misspelling them. 🙂
*** Note: Keep in mind, if the 1611 KJV was infallible, and the KJV we have today is infallible, how could there be differences?
(1611 KJV) wwwwwwwhat the heck?? No comprende it's a riddle
(Ezek 24:7) … she set it vpon the toppe of a rocke, she powred it vpon the ground to couer it with dust:
(Corrected KJV today)
(Ezek 24:7) … she set it upon the top of a rock; she poured it NOT upon the ground, to cover it with dust; (caps emphasis mine)
oh my!!
(1763 Version) (Ps 14:1) “the fool hath said in his heart there is a God”
(instead of there is “no” God)
holy cow!!
(1632 Version) (Ex 20:14) “Thou shalt commit adultery” (leaving out the “not”)
" gee Wally do you think we should tell Mom and Dad about this?? " -- leave it to Beaver
The original 1611 King James Bible contained the Apocryphal books which have clearly been demonstrated to have major errors in doctrine, history, and geography
SO… should people read ONLY the King James Bible because it is infallible and inerrant? No! Should they read it because it is one of the best word for word translations available today? Yes!
However, many people have a difficult time understanding the KJV Bible. I find it pointless to try and read a Bible version if you aren’t understanding what it is saying. Isn’t the point to gain an understanding of God’s word?
The verdict is in of course it's okay to read other translations

It's best to study from a word for word translation.
Too many versions out there for sale . Many are incorrect from what the word of God teaches.
The Bible is the only infallible Word of God and it is important to study what's Truth.
Some people study everything they think is a bible. Then get confused and fall for false doctrines.

Okay but point being this look at all the different translations about John 3:16 they all line up perfectly
Berean Study Bible
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that everyone who believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.
Berean Literal Bible
For God so loved the world that He gave the only begotten Son, so that everyone believing in Him should not perish, but should have eternal life.
King James Bible
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
New King James Version
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
New American Standard Bible
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.
NASB 1995
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life

Is it more important that man recognises that translations all add up together or not, or that man has to all be of the same mind and judgement and actions...
1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?
Acts 2:44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,

they don't all add up they have variant readings as demonstrated above to say otherwise is deception God wants us to know the difference between the holy and the profane
Ezekiel 44:23 They are to teach My people the difference between the holy and the common, and show them how to discern between the clean and the unclean

Priests needed to teach men, now there is no need for any man to teach because of the anointing of Christ in us..
1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

Adam, once again your comments are in error.
The verse you quoted isn’t teaching against the need for human teachers, if this were so then why do you attempt to teach⁉️
It’s been your long standing habit to routinely quote scripture out of context. Your reply here is no exception.
If you had taken time to study the fuller context of the verse you quoted, you would’ve noted the kind of “teacher” nobody needs—false teachers and apostates who’ve appointed themselves as teachers who assume some secret knowledge and who deny or add to the revelation concerning Jesus.
The Holy Spirit, on the other hand, has provided scripture to instruct believers. In that scripture, teachers are used by the Holy Spirit to teach bwlievers
