Posted : 21 Apr, 2021 02:46 PM The Bible teaches that a leader in the church should be a godly, moral, ethical person (1 Timothy 3:1-13; Titus 1:6-9). This should apply to political leaders as well. If politicians are going to make wise, God-honoring decisions, they must have a basic morality and worldview on which to base the decisions they are going to have to make. So if there is a clear moral distinction between candidates, as Christians, we should choose the more moral, honest, and ethical of the candidates. No matter who is in office, whether we voted for them or not, whether they are of the political party we prefer or not, the Bible commands us to respect and honor them (Romans 13:1-7; 1 Peter 2:13-17). We should also be praying for those placed in authority over us (Colossians 4:2; 1 Thessalonians 5:17). We do not have to agree with them, or even like them, but we do have to honor and respect them. Politics is always going to be a difficult issue for Christians. We are in this world but are not to be of this world (1 John 2:15). We can be involved in politics, but we should not be obsessed with politics. Ultimately, we are to be heavenly minded, more concerned with the things of God than the things of this world (Colossians 3:1-2). Posted : 21 Apr, 2021 02:52 PM so if Jesus had three political parties to choose from no doubt it would be the freedom party because as it says in luke 4:18 " “the Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed " Post Reply

He and administration supports Abortion and same sex unions agendas. The Republican platform is against abortionist and homosexuality agendas. If you do vote and a Christian, you should be against laws that further immorality in society. Yes God is concerned . Bible covers all things in Life. Study it . Post Reply

Posted : 22 Apr, 2021 07:29 PM ANOTHER EXCELLENT POST RSVP‼️‼️ Jesus will establish his earthly rule when he sets up his 1000 year kingdom—might be in the not too distant future‼️ Only thing is, he’s not gonna mess with a democracy (a representative government usually voted in by a majority or by eligible members). Jesus will be Ruler, King or Monarch over his Kingdom. To some, that doesn’t sound very American but then again, a democracy run by a bunch of ignorant and gullible voters electing politicians just like themselves hasn't exactly proven the best form of government. But Jesus will set up his own kingdom first hand and appoint whomsoever/whatsoever administration he wants. Post Reply

Having said that, I would sooner vote for an atheist whose polices reflect biblical principles than for a self-proclaiming “Christian” whose polices violate Christian principles. Sadly, some voters claiming to be “Christian”, pass over moral principles and cast their vote according to the candidates perceived personal “like-ability” rather than the candidate’s stand on Christian moral principles espoused in his polices Post Reply
