It's not possible for God to lie, or possible for the devil to speak truly.
That means the devil deceiver, cannot highlight about what vanity is, because it teaches vanity.
Guilty who takes the Lord's name in VAIN..
Deuteronomy 5:11 Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain: for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.
It is not vanity for us to set our hearts on all the words the Lord has spoken, as opposite to vanity, this is OUR LIFE..
Deuteronomy 32:46 And he said unto them, Set your hearts unto all the words which I testify among you this day, which ye shall command your children to observe to do, all the words of this law.
47 For it is not a vain thing for you; because it is your life: and through this thing ye shall prolong your days in the land, whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.
In Job it is taught the vanity of the devil, labouring in vain, never given wisdom or understanding or fear..

All we need to do is measure the Lords right things spoken against the devils ways, to speak wrong, which is to teach doing unrighteousness ( sometimes as they try to delicately allow the lie)...

How does still having an unclean heart ( not a purified conscience ) mean anyone is saved, that is vanity teaching ?

The deceiver says saved by grace, but it does not say that grace comess to man in vain, when man gives offence to others by working ill against them, without approving ourselves to God and man..( deceivers think doing some sins sometimes is somehow approving ourselves both to God and man)..

The testimony of God has spoken against the vanity, no unclean coveteous man inherits, and vain words and lying excuses do not cause us to inherit, thanks deceivers..

No more vain glory, or vain deceit, no more spoiling,must be a pure conscience and no more of the vain jangling they daily gave, profane babblings as if that has use, they have no use these people/person, increasing more ungodliness..
