Vanity is a very important reason why people lose their soul. It cannot be explained more clearly, or echoed more loudly, that mankind is all vanity....
Ecclesiastes 12:8 Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
The first rejection for Israel comes because of Israel rejecting the statutes of the Lord, drawing near to God by pretense, vainly worshiping by doing their own ways instead, preferring their own words, following nothing then, and not carefully doing what pleases the Lord..
Matthew 15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
2 Kings 17:15 And they rejected his statutes, and his covenant that he made with their fathers, and his testimonies which he testified against them; and they followed vanity, and became vain, and went after the heathen that were round about them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them, that they should not do like them.
Then the prayer is made, how no godly man is left, all speaking vanity and flattery to each other, with no sincerity but double hearts, and God said, every man ceases to teach their neighbour this way, as all will know the Lord being taught from Christ..
Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Psalm 12:1 Help, Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
3 The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:
To be quickened in the way of the Lord, for God to turn man from vanity, in a pure heart, to seek the Lord and stop the vain seekers and false talkers..
Psalm 24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
Psalm 119:37 Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken thou me in thy way.
Mans mouth speaks vanity, and God rids man of those strange children who give falsehood and cant ceasde their own vanity..
Psalm 144:4 Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Psalm 144:8 Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood.
Psalm 144:11 Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand is a right hand of falsehood:
So the woes come to those who continue to draw iniquity in their vanity, sinning because their vain way has no godly purpose, giving evil for good, darkness for light, wise only in their own eyes has the woes coming..
Isaiah 5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope:
19 That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may know it!
20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight!
This then is Christ sifting the nations with the sieve of vanity, and the people speak vanity and err against God..
Isaiah 30:28 And his breath, as an overflowing stream, shall reach to the midst of the neck, to sift the nations with the sieve of vanity: and there shall be a bridle in the jaws of the people, causing them to err.
God telling us, to stop speaking vanity ( our own words are vanity) instead to call for Gods justice and truth, instead of trusting in mans vain talk and the lies they conceive and bring forth iniquity through mischief..
Isaiah 58:9 Then shalt thou call, and the Lord shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;
Isaiah 59:4 None calleth for justice, nor any pleadeth for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.
These are the false prophet vain talkers, who the Lord has cut off, but they speak on anyway, who but vain persons hear them ?
Ezekiel 13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
Ezekiel 13:23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the Lord.
Zechariah 10:2 For the idols have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie, and have told false dreams; they comfort in vain: therefore they went their way as a flock, they were troubled, because there was no shepherd.
Having been delivered by the Lord who did His work of love to lay His life down, it makes the empty talk just silly, to turn from those continuing in the vanity of their mind, who confess they give themselves over to sinning, that is their vain idea of cleanliness, but being taught by Him ( by Christ directly) the truth is in Jesus not the false vain prophets, to put off the old man ( the body of the sins of the flesh) as it is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts ( the deceitfulness of sin which they say they do anyway)..
Ephesians 4:17 This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:
19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness.
20 But ye have not so learned Christ;
21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus:
22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Which again is as testified ( and not vain talk ) they cannot cease from sin, they are unstable souls, following the vain examples, and speaking grewat swelling words of vanity..
2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
16 But was rebuked for his iniquity: the dumb donkey speaking with man's voice forbad the madness of the prophet.
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

All that's on the stationary non spinning, wobbling nor tilting earth today means nothing except Biblical LOVE!

So what is the conclusion of the whole matter on vanity??? What really counts in the end >>>BEFORE<<< judgment day and is the whole duty of man in his WORKS >>>after<<< righteous FAITH???
Ecclesiastes 12:13 - 'Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.'
Didn't the Messiah say if you LOVE me you WILL keep my (PERFECT) commandments??? Just as He did IN THE FLESH ALSO by the POWER of His Father in heaven?

How long people or the devil, teach against God.
Jesus is God, who becomes us, all you need to do is see some words, or pretend they do not speak right, and vanity continues..
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
