A believer in Christ consents to the wholesome words of Christ, then there are the disputers, the ungodly, who teach pride, strife, evil surmisings, perversely disputing in corrupted minds..
1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
The devil does not have to show itself contradicting and resisting the words of Christ, we know it before we see it.
The word of Christ for life:
The gate of the Lord into which the righteous shall enter..
Psalm 118:19 Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the Lord:
20 This gate of the Lord, into which the righteous shall enter.
The Shepherd enters in by the door ( gate) and goes before them ( to death in the flesh laying His life down for the sheep) and the sheep follow Him for they know His voice.
Christ ( the Shepherd) brings us to God by being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.
Christ ( then in death ) preached to us (dead in sins) who were disobedient, and now the resurrection of Jesus Christ gave us a good conscience toward God, baptized from the uncircumcision of our flesh being quickened together with Christ..

We knew Christ after the flesh( praying to God in the flesh to forgive our sins and the Lords kingdom to come)
The Lords kingdom came, when the Apostles were endued with power from on high, to be in Christ ( that is His kingdom) to be a new creature, and all old ways of the flesh passed away, God reconciling us to Himself by Jesus Christ, and the old man conversation put off which is corrupt by the deceitful lusts ( sin ) and we be renewed by the Spirit of our mind ( the mind of Christ) putting on that new man (Christ) made of the image of God ( us ) created in righteousness/true holiness ( not sin )

So that is straight forward so far, all must put on Christ, dead in the flesh to be alive to God.
Speaking of straight. Christ is the door the sheep follow out of this world into His kingdom.

Reconciliation is made for our iniquity, bringing in the everlasting righteousness of the Lord God by His laying down of HIs life for us, that finishes the transgression by making an END OF SINS.
Then the remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, no deceitful lying tongue is found in any of the sheep of the Shepherd..
Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Zephaniah 3:13 The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth: for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
When Christ the master of the house is risen up ( risen from the dead) the door is shut to the workers of iniquity..

Desiring to be first, means being last. Receiving the Son is receiving God, which is receiving a little child..

Take our cross to be WORTHY OF CHRIST.
Lose our life to find it, for the sake of Christ, receiving us, is receiving the Son, is receiving the Lord..

38 And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.
39 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.

The master risen up ( from the dead ) gave us example to do as He has done. The blind cannot lead the blind, and the servant is not greater than His Lord, therefore the servant cannot do less than His master. Everyone that does perfectly, shall be as His master. HAPPY IF YOU KNOW THESE THINGS.
Receiving who Christ sends, receives Himself,, and receiving Christ is receiving the Lord God..

Then knowing, we are to LOVE ONE ANOTHER AS CHRIST LOVED US, and to FOLLOW CHRIST AFTERWARDS..

Christ dies in the flesh of this world, to prepare a place for us in His kingdom, as when He is there we may be also..
John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know.
Because Christ risen and lives, we live also, then the Son is in the Father ( is God in Heaven forever more) and we be in Him and He is in us, He comes to us in the Spirit of Christ..
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
19 Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.
This then reproves the world of sin, by not believing the testimony of the Son of God coming in the flesh to condemn and destroy the children of the devil of the flesh ( sin).
This makes His children of righteousness, to see the Son in the Spirit of righteousness inside of them. (this is them seeing Him again ).
This is exactly how the prince of this world was judged ( when the wicked prince day was come, when iniquity had an end..
John 126:8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
It is the spiritual understanding of how we shall not see Christ, and then how we shall see Him.
He came forth from the Father and goes to the Father, accomplished destruction of the devil and made the way to see the Father through the Son..
John 16:19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do ye enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and ye shall not see me: and again, a little while, and ye shall see me?
