And we know it was an absolutely perfect tasty dish made by the loving hands of God himself what else could they expect? Better than any five star restaurant well that's an understatement but when we try to make breakfast for Jesus the eggs may come out runny, the bacon a little too crisp , the hash browns a little too raw inside , orange juice a little too watered down pancakes could pass as spare tires you get the drift For 32 years now since I became a born again Christian I have been trying to whip up the perfect gourmet breakfast for Christ but it's not happening And despite my culinary frailties if you will Jesus knows my heart is all in it and so he's still accepts my sin touched first tithe plate offering Why? because like Paul says in Romans 7:23 But I see another law at work in my body, warring against the law of my mind ........." There is a war a nervousness in my hands as I try to please our Master No we don't need to go to a chef's school we just need to believe what the Bible says 1 John 4:16 And we have come to know and have come to believe the love that God has as to us. God is love, and the one abiding in love abides in God, and God abides in him And when we do we know that our sins are forgiven and then and only then will our pardon the pun eggs be equally yoked with Christ Post Reply

They have perfectionism all figured out. Since Adam is as perfect as God he could fix a perfect egg omelette. God is so lucky to have such charming and “perfectly sinless” guys around. Truth is, and you hit it on the head, no matter how hard we try, we will never be “perfect and totally sinless” in this life. Even Job, Daniel and Noah who were considered the most righteous among men had to confess sin daily. I guess Flat Teddy and Adam have those 3 men of God beat on perfection But the closer a true follower of Christ comes to the holiness of God the more contaminated his righteous acts appear. That pretty much explains the trouble with “sinless perfectionists”. They’re satisfied with “thinking” they’re “perfect” because they’ve lowered the standard of what it means to be “perfect”. With such a low standard of righteousness and holiness, perfectionism pretenders can now call themselves “sinless and perfect”! Post Reply

They were suffering with overconfidence too until the shark showed up grabbed the bait headed out to sea destroying the pier sending one of them into the water fortunately he just barely made it to safety . That's a perfect picture of sinless perfection pride coming before the fall Post Reply

A perfectionism devotee can’t simply lower the standard of God’s holiness and then pretend to have achieved it. That presents another problem for the perfectionist because they pride themselves in their false sinless perfection and look down on others just like the Pharisees looked down others and thought they were better than everyone else. David thinks righteous TRUE BELIEVING living Christians say the more they - come to understanding the true holiness of YHWH the more stained their own acts of righteousness appear! What would be the point in ANY TRUE righteous BELIEVING Christian even to THINK they are righteous when ALL THAT POWER COMES FROM HEAVEN by the Father's set apart Holy Spirit to do so! Christains are NOT righteous on their own, NOT REAL ONES! Good grief what a twisting of Biblical doctrine that is of David and its obvious he has never prayed to be delivered from his continual sinning, so he continues on in his love for his pet sins! Like for instance he breaks the Sabbath every week he says because he is blind to the fact that YHWH never changes and therefore YHWH's Law lives on! What David is blind ALSO to see and teach is like this, to the UNrighteous possibly hearing this for the first time he would of said or should say - the closer a person comes to understand by reading the Bible, the true holiness of YHWH and His Son, the more stained his own acts of righteousness appear! That's right, in my ministry I hear self righteous lost people all the time say, 'well I'm a pretty good person most of the time, so I don't see why I'm so bad, if their is a god that is to judge me'!? They are claiming their own righteousness! And here we have a FAKE 'christian' like David that claims UNrighteous so he can CLAIM the righteousness of Christ but not how He lived, so that David does not have to live like Him by that SAME POWER from His Father! David does not claim that same FATHER in heaven like the MORTAL MESSIAH did to be delivered from temptation and potential sin??? WOW! LOL! David thinks REAL BORN AGAIN righteous TRUE BELIEVING living Christians claim their own righteousness when NOTHING could be further from the truth! David obviously does not even KNOW the definition of what BORN AGAIN (all things new) means and WHERE that POWER comes from to be ONE??? STRANGE indoctrinated dude this David is friends??? WOAH! Good grief, if David knew the meaning of 'true follower of Christ' (as he just stated!) he would understand they are NOT 'contaminated' in constant sinning like David owns up to in his daily life, because a TRUE FOLLOWER is NOT HIS/HER own anymore!
