Suffering for Christ or enjoying for ourselves ?

The way to glory is through the sufferings of Christ, as the Apostle Peter was a witness of the sufferings of Christ, suffering to be partaker of the glory that shall be revealed..

1 Peter 1:11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

1 Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:

Being a partaker of Christ's sufferings, we can be glad when Hos glory shall be revealed then with joy..

1 Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

The sufferings of Christ abide in us, being afflicted, is for the salvation, and enduring of the same sufferings ( Of Christ) to be partaker of the sufferings to be also of the consolation( salvation)

2 Corinthians 1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

7 And our hope of you is stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so shall ye be also of the consolation.

Filling up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ, in the flesh, the mystery hidden, the glory of this mystery which is Christ in us ( in the sufferings of Christ).

Strengthened with might, according to Gods glory, ( not this deceivers idea of enjoying life) with all longsuffering, GOd made us meet to be of the Saints..

Colossians 1:11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;

12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:

13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:

Colossians 1:24 Who now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up that which is behind of the afflictions of Christ in my flesh for his body's sake, which is the church:

25 Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;

26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

The buffeting of satan is given in the flesh, humbling us, as Gods strength is made perfect in weakness, and His grace is sufficient for us, so we are pleased in infirmities, in reproaches, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake, for the weakness is us strong..

2 Corinthians 12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.

9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

How great things we must suffer, it is given to us to suffer for Christ...

Acts 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Philippians 1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

Peter was not a perfectionism heretic. Adam should follow his example

The devil flees from the word of God, so flee..

1 Peter 5:10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

I can’t flee Adam because I’m not the devil and I obey the Word of God.

Adam, when you call believers in God names like the “devil” and you lie about others on the forum, it proves that you need to seriously do a heart to heart personal evaluation on your own faith.

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test?

lessons for a non believing mocker who denies every word of Christ we see.

If the eye offends pluck it out is the word david..

Matthew 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

if it had been possible they would have plucked their eyes out..

Galatians 4:15 Where is then the blessedness ye spake of? for I bear you record, that, if it had been possible, ye would have plucked out your own eyes, and have given them to me.

Again if it is possible live peaceably, this is possible and has to be peace and holiness with all men..

Romans 12:18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Regarding offence, we do none is the answer..

Acts 24:16 And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void to offence toward God, and toward men.

Adam it’s a sin to lie about and condemn other people on this forum by calling them “non believing mockers”. Do you know what a “non believing mocker” is? !! It’s very a serious charge in the sight of God
