Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame

What does God teach/testify to us, about confessing of our sins, and of shame of those same sinful ways ?
Proverbs 28 sets the way, to confess them is correct, not by covering them up, but by forsaking those sins after they are confessed..
Proverbs 28:13 He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy
This is the same as taught in 2 Corinthians 7, how repentance to salvation, is not to be repented of, to not need to repent again and again, but as just read to be forsaken of the sins that is the way of God for confessing..
2 Corinthians 7:10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
This is that same teaching in 1 John 1, to confess the sins, and then, become cleansed of all unrighteousness ( cleansed to be not forsaken and repented of, or to be forsaken and repentance to not be repented of ?)..
1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
The prayer of the righteous man avails much, praying for the one who still does faults, the same as Elias prayed for Israel to be forgiven...
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Then we understand how Elias prayed for no rain, and then prayed for rain again, which is that same period of time our Lord Jesus Christ preached the Kingdom of God..
James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.
18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit
Now understanding how God teaches man shame, and how the rains were withholden from Israel because they refused to be ASHAMED..
Jeremiah 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withholden, and there hath been no latter rain; and thou hadst a whoore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
Back on the prayers of the righteous man for the ones still doing faults, and how the rains were withheld as they refused to be ashamed of their faults, they are then to awake to the same righteousness and to sin not, that is the knowledge of God to learn or have shame..
1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.
Then Daniel 12 shows many instruct many to righteousness, and others will have shame and contempt forever..
Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.
3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
Again, as for shame, it is lie for anyone who finds shame, the Lords words do good to those who can have shame and begin to walk uprightly..
Micah 2:6 Prophesy ye not, say they to them that prophesy: they shall not prophesy to them, that they shall not take shame.
7 O thou that art named the house of Jacob, is the spirit of the Lord straitened? are these his doings? do not my words do good to him that walketh uprightly?
The just Lord will do no iniquity, and the unjust men ? They do iniquity, they know no shame, they as in Zephania 3, have self glory, but it will change into shame..
Zepheniah 3:5 The just Lord is in the midst thereof; he will not do iniquity: every morning doth he bring his judgment to light, he faileth not; but the unjust knoweth no shame.
Hosea 4:7 As they were increased, so they sinned against me: therefore will I change their glory into shame.
Compare that to when one believes in Christ, in the heart to righteousness, and before they are made free from sin, ( the ones confessing their sins are free from sin or still the slave of sin ?) and the end of those things/sins, is death, no fruit in them and are they now ashamed?
Romans 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life
But, not only Romans 6, tells us what fruit we had in those shameful things/sins, Ephesians 5 also tells us the works of darkness are unfruitful, and what is dine by those darkness sin workers is shameful to even speak of whats done by them ( they confess and forsake nothing)..
Ephesians 5:11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
They do shamefully, and consider that glory,, by minding earthly things/sins..
Philippians 3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:
19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
Their word is to confess their sins, but Gods word are these, woe to them, they greedily seek after reward ( the reward and wages of their sin ) which is unfruitful, what fruit in their shameful things they are not ashamed of as they never forsook them ...
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
12 These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots;
Jude says they have gone in Cains way, because they woiks are evil, and not righteous as Abels..
1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
Jude 1 spoke of Balaam, 2 Peter 2 continues, they forsake the right way ( to sin not and love your neighbour fulfilling all)as they love their self wages of their unrighteous sin commiting, without as testified all along, to forsake them. Having eyes full of adultery and cannot cease their sin ? With spots and blemishes they say is ok as long as confessed? They as told, receive the reward of unrighteousness/sin..
2 Peter 2:13 And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
15 Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;
The sin they confess, it is not wrong to them ? They receive the reward/wages of sin=death. As all unrighteousness is sin, and the ones who do unrighteousness get death, it is manifested even, to be of the devil when you do unrighteousness/sin, which is, he who is not doing always righteousness is not of God by not loving always their brother (Romans 10, love works no ill to your neighbour:, as born of God sin not, by the evil not touching them and keeping themselves by Christs Holy Spirit overcoming.. Romans 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.
1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
1 John 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
Anyway, shame is what is missing, and sham forever is what the reward will be...
Revelation 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Revelation 16:15 Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
