Philosophy spoils us, which the deceivers on the forum want us to follow/their philosophy.
God makes us complete, not lacking, or falling/sinning, not growing and allowed to make mistakes all along, but complete is complete.
What is complete is the circumcision of Christ, which is without hands, better than the Jews idea of circumcision, or the deceivers summing up, it is as told clearly, putting off the body that sins, otherwise what kind of faulty circumcision do the antichrists expect we receive ?
We are buried with Christ, and risen with Him, ( the deceiver states we cannot walk as Christ nor avoid doing sins/evil to others ?)
We are however, dead in our sins, when we are uncircumcised and the circumcision either makes the sinning vanish or does nothing but talk..
Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
Christ did no sin, is it an example to mock, as they say that example we cant follow ?
How then do we be dead to sins and live unto righteousness, if we fail to do righteousness at times, and make sins living ?
1 Peter 2:21 For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
22 Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth:
23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:
24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
Nowhere the deceivers own doctrine and words can be seen in the actual testimony of Christs doctrine, their reconing of dead to sin, is by sinning, to be alive unto God by doing unholiness ? To obey their lusts ? To let sin both be alive, and to reign ?
But they were told, to neither let your members be of unrighteousness to sin, even though the deceiver says this is their way of yielding to their god, their way of being alive from the dead ( they also say they do not stop sinning until really dead and in Heaven ?) but we are told now is the time, not their lie, to have our members instruments of righteousness, God wants now..
Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Their way of Christ in them, ( they also deny the deity of Christ that He came in the flesh and returned Spirit in glory) is to have their body not really dead because of sin, but to have life sometimes that is unrighteousness ( as they claim Christ covers their unrighteousness even though it says no such thing in the word of God here does it of when we are really dead and alive?)
But the final word is, they are not permitted to live AFTER THE FLESH, as then, not being dead to sin means they will die, as it was COMMANDED, to MORTIFY THE DEEDS OF THE BODY THEY DID NOT MORTIFY YET, TO LIVE
Romans 8:10 And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh.
13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
As the title is the bad news about life, the deceiver cannot say it hates its life, as it loves its life, hence why it makes others suffer while it excuses doing evil/sinning against others instead of for them, sinning instead of righteousness, how can they be so unstable and still in darkness by hating their brother instead of themselves..
John 12:25 He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.
1 John 2:11 But he that hateth his brother is in darkness, and walketh in darkness, and knoweth not whither he goeth, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.
The book of 1 John was written to Christians. The apostle says, “If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:8–9). It is clear from this passage that even those who have been born again and redeemed by the blood of Jesus will still sin. Through thought, attitude, or action, we will “grieve” (Ephesians 4:30) and “quench” (1 Thessalonians 5:19) the Holy Spirit at times. But this passage also reassures us that God offers continual, ongoing grace whenever we agree with Him about our sin and ask for His cleansing.
And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
a. We have an Advocate: God’s desire is that you may not sin. Yet if we do, there is provision made – an Advocate, a defense lawyer on our side. Our Advocate is Jesus Christ Himself.
i. Lenski on the ancient word for Advocate: “Demosthenes uses it to designate the friends of the accused who voluntarily step in and personally urge the judge to decide in his favor.”
b. We have an Advocate: Jesus is our defender, even when we sin now. God is not shocked by human behavior. He has seen it all in advance. He didn’t forgive us at one time to later say, “Look what they did now! If I would have known they would go and do that, I would have never forgiven them.” His forgiveness is available to us now.
So Adam when you finally admit that you have sinned during your walk with Christ the good news is we have an advocate on our behalf
Lets remind ourselves, we have time to be born again, or cant enter Heaven, and what is all the testimony of born again, is it the deceivers sword to continue to sin, or Gods word to CEASE ?
The deceivers never stop disputing, but they flee from the WORD of God, the deceiver is our enemy, it is they who God testifies, have eyes full of Adultery and that CANNOT CEASE FROM SIN, covetous practises, as they are IDOL SELF WORSHIPPERS..
2 Peter 2:14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
Now Gods way, for us to worship in the Spirit. To the will of God, not man..
John 1:13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
The time past was the will of lust of the Gentiles, now it is of God, and when it is of God, they have CEASED FROM SIN..
1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
2 That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.
John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
1 John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1 John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
