why did God use Adam’s rib? Interestingly, ribs have amazing regenerative powers. Portions of rib bone and cartilage removed in bone graft surgery will regrow in a few months’ time, as long as the rib perichondrium is left intact. This means that Adam’s loss of a rib was only temporary; he did not have to go through the rest of his life with an incomplete skeletal system.

When God brought Eve to Adam, they were united in marriage: the “woman” in Genesis 2:22 is called Adam’s “wife” in verse 24. The pattern for marriage, the first social institution, was thus established by God in Eden. The manner of Eve’s creation is “why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” The unity of a married couple and the “one flesh” principle are based on the fact that God used one of Adam’s ribs to make the woman.

God’s use of one of Adam’s ribs to make Eve is a reminder that woman was created to be “beside” man. Together, the man and woman complement one another in marriage, and in Christ they are “heirs together of the grace of life” 1 Peter 3:7

The wife is to be a help mate! Sometimes the man is not capable of being the head of household, because he is not lead by God.

Many marriages are not two Christian people.

Do I have to teach you guys everything ?

Here we go, the actual relevant scriptures, of Gods creation, and why God used the rib/body of Adam, and what this MYSTERY, means ?

God created man in His own image, male and female. Not created to be beside the man, but made in the image of God.

Isaiah 43, further clarifies this from God, how the ones called by God's name, are created for God's glory..

Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Isaiah 43:7 Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

This is explained in Colossians, how the new man, is created in knowledge after God who created for this purpose.

Ephesians reveals, we are CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS..

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

Ephesians 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Why did I mention MYSTERY ? This is the mystery of Christ, revealed by the Spirit, for man to be in the same body..

Ephesians 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,

4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;

6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:

This then as it continues, is to make us see the fellowship of the mystery, hidden from the beginning of created male and female created He them, but the true creation is created in Christ as told above, and, all things are created by Jesus Christ, which is the church ( male and female created He them/in Christ neither male nor female.. ) for ALL ARE ONE IN JESUS CHRIST..

Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:

10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,

11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.

Back on Genesis for the confused so called teacher/article giver, bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, indicates the same as told again in Genesis 29, how brothers together are your bone and your flesh..

Genesis 2:23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Genesis 29:14 And Laban said to him, Surely thou art my bone and my flesh. And he abode with him the space of a month.

15 And Laban said unto Jacob, Because thou art my brother, shouldest thou therefore serve me for nought? tell me, what shall thy wages be?

Does this sound clearer for anyone yet, how when we place the verses together, we have a simple clarified understanding, how we ALL ( all brothers and sisters and there is no male or female in Christ as testified) ARE MEMBERS OF CHRIST'S FLESH AND HIS BONES ?

For that cause a man left his mother and father to join his wife, they two being one flesh, and the mystery concerns Christ and His church..

Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.

32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

Genesis 2:24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh.

That mystery has been clarified all along, but here it is told even more deeper, two are one flesh, but the focus is on he that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit..

1 Corinthians 6:16 What? know ye not that he which is joined to an harlot is one body? for two, saith he, shall be one flesh.

17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.

This is because, to leave father and mother and wife, hating the life we once loved, is to love Christ, AND, your own flesh are the ones who need you, which is what we are called to, which the deceiver antichrist always omits, to ALSO AS TESTIFIED BE WITHOUT SPOT OR WRINKLE BUT BE HOLY WITHOUT THE DEVILS BLEMISHES....

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Isaiah 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

1 John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
