Rejoice! Just about 1.7 BILLION people call themselves Christians....but the deception is real. I wonder if even 1% of those who claim to be Christian truly believe.
I find that if you have the right conversation and ask the right questions, the Christian mask comes off pretty quickly. What are some signs/warnings you've observed in the past that led you to see that you were dealing with a false convert?

One tell-tale sign that you're dealing with a false convert is that they have no genuine desire for God's word.
Peter wrote:
"As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby: If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious." (I Peter 2:2-3)
In the same manner that a newborn baby in the natural has a strong desire for milk, so too ought someone who has truly been born again of God's Spirit, or who has truly "tasted that the Lord is gracious", have a strong desire for the milk of God's word initially, and, ultimately, the meat of God's word.
If such a desire doesn't truly exist, then that's a tell-tale sign that someone is a false convert.

Who agrees that a fully more whole, and complete thorough revelation, is how the Lord gave us the scriptures, to have great interest for many people, but to be a stumbling stone and rock of offence for so many, who stumble at the word being disobedient, and that stone ( the living WORD) falls on them and grinds them to powder ?
1 Peter 2:1-3, sets the scene for the correct path of following the Shepherd, the Lord Jesus Christ. (That is what these testimonies are for and to make sure there is no confusion for anyone or possibility of misinterpretation of anything so we all will be judged appropriately soon for judgement day)
Malice ends, no guile in the mouth, no hypocrisies in the talk, no envying in our heart/actions, all evil speaking GONE.
People are exhorted, to desire Gods word, which is ALWAYS SINCERE AND ALWAYS WHAT WE GROW BY..
1 Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,
2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
Then remembering that they may have tasted that the Lord is gracious.
Hebrews 4, points out for this world, about the ones who consider themselves a believer and enlightened, parttakers of the Holy Ghost ( considered they were born again and spoke of being born again ) and had TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF GOD.
But, they fall away, and wrongly taught by the deceiver that this is acceptable with Christ and will be forgiven, are testified there is never forgiveness and it is impossible to renew repentance that blasphemes Christ..
Hebrews 4:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Now remembering that we were not told we receive milk and then move onto meat, ( but were told to desire the sincere word which is always milk to grow )
We understand, those who use milk, are dull of hearing, ( cannot hear the word) and have no understanding or growth in the word of God.
Meat is to all who have senses to discern between good and evil ( a sincere lover of Christ and not a false one )..
Hebrews 5:11 Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
Remembering above, how 1 Peter 2 says laying aside all malice and guile, James 1 says to lay apart all filthiness and naughtiness, to receive the engrafted word, and to be doers of the word ( right away we see they are grown, and they can discern good and evil or how can they be a doer of the good and pout aside all of the evil ?)..
James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
So the deceiver yet again tries to give its own doctrine, that we move on to meat, yet that was never taught at all, but to let the word of Christ dwell in us richly, to teach and admonish one another..
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Also the word of God i quick ( not slow as the deceiver wants us to believe ) and this word in us, is a discerner of the thoughts and intentions of the heart( to discern both good and evil is not after time, but right away)..
Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Further testimony tells how the wise heart discerns both time and judgement..
Ecclesiastes 8:5 Whoso keepeth the commandment shall feel no evil thing: and a wise man's heart discerneth both time and judgment.
Remembering 1 Peter 2, how we put aside all malice and all guile, and all evil speaking, to desire the milk of the word ( which is always sincere milk we grow by ) this continues just to the next chapter, 1 Peter 3, how we have to refrain our tongue from evil and our lips to speak no guile, TO ESCHEW EVIL, AND DO GOOD ( the deceiver says not from milk but only when we move onto meat can we discern both good and evil)
But the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and the face of the Lord is against them who do evil ( so clearly the ones who desire the sincere milk of the word can discern both good and evil too is proven)..
1 Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:
11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.
12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.
Now, I will continue to answer why desiring scriptures, does not mean they are godly at all.
They as testified, have a form of godliness, and are EVER LEARNING, BUT NEVER IN THE KNOWLEDGE ( AND LOVE ) OF THE TRUTH..
2 Timothy 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
6 For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts,
7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
In answer now, to both opinions told on this thread.
Can you tell who is a deceiver, and, because they are in the word, does that mean they are sincere ?
No, it was testified and revealed for us, how the lawyers are in the word, but touch none of them with one of their fingers.
They also, appear righteous to men, but are as graves we are unaware of..
Luke 11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.
45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also.

Now, in final answer, how it is o in the right conversation, nor in the right questions, to know who is a sincere believer with Jesus Christ n their heart.
Jesus taught us, the tree is known by his fruit. They cannot speak good, as out of the heart proceeds it abundance, of evil. By those same words are are justified or condemned..
Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.
34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.
Again, even though they have the word, study it, and use it, they, being blind leaders, do not use the word sincerely, being blind.
Out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, the fornications and thefts, the false witness and blasphemy( remembering they taste the word of God but crucify Christ afresh) and their on words condemn them, when we tell the testimony of Christ against them..
Matthew 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

2 Thessalonians 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them STRONG DELUSION, THAT THEY SHOULD BELIEVE A LIE:
Most of the world has been doing that for the past year.
Not that strong a delusion if you can think critically and use common sense.
Anyone afraid to get a killer illness that has been around for a year with over a 99% recovery rate has to have question marks hanging over their faith. I definitely wouldn't trust them in a combat situation.

Yeah the 'killer illness' flu virus from last March given a special CODE name and milked for all its worth for control of the election, churches, jobs and on and on it goes, the SCAM face masks! Its the perfect control (troll) 'virus' that is in my opinion nothing more than people who were possibly exposed from year(s) past of some kind of flu 'virus' that still has 'memory' shown in cells/saliva, then this so called 'testing' shows that or worse yet just faulty fake propaganda for the masses to distract from what's really going on like the CHEM TRAILS they are 'crop dusting' with just about everyday! I could go on and on. Marcouse we ARE in a 'combat situation' for freedom of choice and I'm sure you would agree?

Super truthful thread NellyO112! You also have probably witnessed many so called 'christians' faking GRACE (their interpretation anyway) thinking they will 'Make It' to heaven still living in daily sins (DISGRACE!), well, 'Until' They 'Get Caught' come judgment day of those false converts! Ouch!
And so true what akindsoul posted - 'If such a desire (as well as works in proof!) doesn't truly exist, then that's a tell-tale sign that someone is a false convert.'
Adam thanks for '1 Peter 2:1-3, sets the scene for the correct path of following the Shepherd' (Messiah), that shows us how to live a righteous sinless life by example and even giving us the POWER to do so from His Father YHWH in heaven and guided by His set apart Holy Spirit that the Messiah tapped into!

That is quite the contradiction Moon trying to omit works!? Faith and Works are like a hand and glove! When Christians are NOT fake, they will be doing GOOD works, as that is the EVIDENCE they are saved! Correct? So we are first saved by GRACE thru FAITH and >>>THEN<<< good works follows those who are already saved! Get it right! Its then YHWH 'knows those who are His' in living righteously everyday!

Regarding saved, nobody is saved, evidenced by good works, as good works are the way a conscience works, and because people are as graves we pass over and seem righteous ( all they do in good works is to be seen of men) and the devil as an angel of light, and his ministers, as ministers of righteousness, means it is not good works that show who is saved, but the fact they self seek, means they cannot be saved at all, as charity seeks not her own. Charity, do we notice, also endures all..
Matthew 23:28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
Matthew 23:5 But all their works they do for to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,
2 Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
Read or ignore, charity seeketh not her own, endureth all things..

Regarding 2 Thessalonians 2, and the delusions and worries brought onto people.
God looks to the men who are contrite and tremble at his word. Men who are not contrite, and do not tremble at Gods word, delight in their abominations, idol worship, which is coveteousness, and any evil anyone does, which is to do what the Lord does not delight in, but in what pleases themselves (self seeking and vaunting themselves )..
Isaiah 66:2 For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the Lord: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.
3 He that killeth an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burneth incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

What is really going on is everybody has a reason to not focus only on the words of life, but to discard them and focus on their own words, own concerns, own thoughts and ideas, stating what matters to them, does not mean it matters to God.
Are you guys never going to realize, by taking your own ideas, and knowing scriptures, all that is left to do is place a few verses together,as is done here below, and right away, it tells, all thoughts man has are vain...
Psalm 39:5 Behold, thou hast made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before thee: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
1 Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.
The thoughts of the "wise" are vain, and God goes on to tell us why that is, as His thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not His ways...
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
Then God( Christ) goes on to show what is offence to Him, is to savour the things that are of men, meaning you then are not savouring the things that be of God..
Matthew 16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.
Then, means hearts are focused on the things coming on the earth, fearing them..
Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
While the way of the Apostles of the Lord, is to not look at ( nor consider any of ) the things that are seen as they are not of God at all, who is eternal and all His ways are that, as all His ways are judgement and truth..
2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
Deuteronomy 32:4 He is the Rock, his work is perfect: for all his ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is he.
Daniel 4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
The eternal then, is to turn away from all we see that is temporary, to change the speech to that is of Heaven, or continue to speak of this earth with our own words and reasinings which are vanity at best, and not only that, to savour and speak of what is for men is offence to God. All ways of a man are right in his own eyes..
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the Lord weigheth the spirits.
We are in a combat situation, and for the ones too busy combating this life, they are not chosen by God to be a soldier to endure hardness, ( as again they declare themselves self seekingly to be saved before endurance which denies Gods testimonies and right ways) which again testifies directly against, all who consider the affairs of this life, including combat situations in this life, don't have that heavenly conversation at all..
Matthew 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.
4 No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

At the minute we are just being worn down, getting rained on by some media artillery, when the foot soldiers come in to clean up whoever hasn't submitted to the will of the world is when it will get tight.
Why 'fake it til you make it'?
Miss out the middle step, save a load of work and just make it.
