Jesus' payment for our sin as told in Hebrews 10, sanctifies us.
By the perfect offering of Christ, them that are sanctified, ARE PERFECTED..
THIS IS THAT COVENANT, Christ in our hearts is the law of Christ put in our hearts, which is HOW AND WHY, God remembers our sins no more, as we do them no more..
Hebrews 10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.
Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,
16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
The disputers do not have that law of Christ written in heart and mind, their conscience being yet defiled do not agree to HOLDING FAST, the profession of thew faith WITHOUT WAVERING, sinning after the knowledge of the truth which shows their sin debt CANNOT BE PAID OFF AGAIN...
Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Speaking of Jesus confirming it is finished, it was finished as Christ overcame the world, so A REQUIREMENT IS NEEDED FROM US TOO..
Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Jesus, teaching the truth and way of righteousness from HEAVEN, * not earthly corrupt minds of wisdom) shows in the parable in Matthew 18, how Christ forgave ALL OF THE DEBT. But the wicked servant, ( opposite to the good servants ) FAILED TO HAVE COMPASSION TO OTHERS. That servants debt has no more sacrifice for sins.
The FATHER, does without mercy to us, who show no mercy..
James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
Matthew 18:32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, IF YE FROM YOUR HEARTS FORGIVE NOT EVERY ONE HIS BROTHER THEIR TRESPASSES...
The Hebrews 10 scripture does testify to us how the offering of the body of Christ perfects them that are sanctified, and how THAT is the COVENANT OF THE LAW WRITTEN IN OUR HEARTS AND MINDS. It is the law of Christ to bear one another's burdens. Surely the deceiver spirit can recognize how, where no new covenant is, there is no forgiveness at all to that claimer.
Also, as just reminded in Matthew 18, we are REQUIRED AND COMMANDED, to forgive from our hearts everyone, or we be not and never forgiven at all really. All of this is BECAUSE, not the hearers of the law of Christ are just, BUT THE DOERS. From our hearts, we not only forgive everyone from our hearts to be forgiven ( and mercy rejoices against the Fathers final JUDGEMENT) we also MUST bear one another's burdens to FULFIL THE LAW OF CHRIST. This is the law written in the heart, the conscience given to us which the devil has not..
Galatians 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
Romans 2:13 (For not the hearers of the law are just before God, but the doers of the law shall be justified.
14 For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:
15 Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another;)
Romans 2 then testifies to us, of the conscience bearing witness in us, WHEN, the new covenant of the law is written in our hearts, and Hebrews 10 makes clear to the wicked world, how nobody in the faulty first covenant could be made perfect, BECAUSE, their conscience is still remembering the sins they commit AGAINST OTHERS( instead of forgiving now everyone and bearing one another's burdens)..
Hebrews 10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
Now ending with being paid off for a debt we were unworthy and not rich enough to pay off, Christ who is God in Heaven, came also to earth making Himself poor * by the death of the cross) to make us rich ( to be given the Spirit to join Him in Heaven)..
2 Corinthians 8:9 For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.
We understand in a good heart then, that we are bought with A PRICE, THEREFORE we glorify God IN OUR BODY AND SPIRIT WHICH ARE GOD'S..
1 Corinthians 6:18 Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.
19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.
Finally, we recognize, being called by Christ we ARE FREE, now became Christs servant, before we were servants of sin and the devil, Christ payed the price for us, CEASE TO BE SERVANTS OF MEN ( EVIL)..
1 Corinthians 7:22 For he that is called in the Lord, being a servant, is the Lord's freeman: likewise also he that is called, being free, is Christ's servant.
23 Ye are bought with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Free indeed ( from committing sin ) is not the devils doctrine, ( of committing sin ) wisdom is justified of her children, now it is time to work out, is your wisdom pure, or crooked..
John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.
35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.
