Is the church too ready to hit the silk???

Most of the church seems to be wraped up in waiting for the Lord to come back. But r we too willing and ready to hit the silk and bail out on the work that still needs to be done on earth and for God??

Jesus is comming back for a glorious church. Not a bunch of pansies, meely mouth and low faith christians. He is looking for a Glorious Church, a Powerful Bride, and when He arrives to receive them home, the church should only want to go becuz they r going to b home with Jesus not excapin from what is happenin on earth.

Jesus said the gates of hell shall not prevail against his church but it is plainly evident that the church today is almost powerless, hung up on social issues, political issues, and a church of ME.

Jesus said that when Elijah has come, he will restore all things. The Elijahs are here now, and it is a time of restoration for the church, and a time of power, overcomming the oppression of the evil one, and a time of the Light of Christ bestowed upon the believers, to shine forth into the darkness, as the ultimate bright becon.

Now is not the time to hook up and stand in the door and be ready to bail out. It is a time to stand in the power of the HOly Spirit, and be part of the Glorious Powerful Bride of Christ.

Whats ur thoughts??

My brother eli good to see your voice out where it can do some good. The church as far as what is out there today is nothing to be proud of as a whole,it has become more of man and less of God,the Word is used only in parts. Now not to say that good ones don't exist they do but all in all what we have would not please the One they claim to serve. What seems to be forgotten is that we are the church not the buildings and the first step we[christians] need to do is take back the churches and restore them back to what the Lord made them to be before we can even think of "saving" others. Before we point fingers we need to look at ourselves first and not by the eyes of man but by the word. It's not about religion it's about realitionship,it's not about man it's about God.We need to stand firm in our walk with Jesus and be true to only Him.God bless you my brother.
