Autism & Down syndromePosted : 16 Aug, 2009 04:31 AMRecently, someone asked me how come God's thoughts towards us are of peace, righteousness, joy, and hope; yet, we see autistic ,and down syndrome. How those could fit in the Kingdom of our Lord? What's their gift, or call to serve Him? |

Autism & Down syndromePosted : 16 Aug, 2009 11:03 AMMy cousin had a baby born with Down Syndrome about three months ago and as a family we were devastated at first and there were a lot of difficult things going on. I prayed and prayed for the baby while we were waiting for the results, for Jesus to place a healing hand over her, but I know that God made the situation as it is for a good reason. We love this child unconditionally and will deal with whatever we need to as the time comes as this baby needs extra love and support in her life. |

Autism & Down syndromePosted : 17 Aug, 2009 02:33 PMdear phoebe, best i can remember there was a verse where JESUS told them that the sins of the parents wasnt what caused a young man to be disabled or handicapped in some way... it seems the folks were sayin just that.. but HE corrected em.. its not a form of punishment but yet can be such a blessing... when you can see the love from an innocent child... if you have a child that loves you no matter.. thats got to be the biggest blessing of all. behind your salvation.. |
