Any wondering minds?

I just wondered what kind of questions others have when they read the Bible I mean questions that we will most likely never have the answers to, until we move to heave any way, and frankly doesnt matter to our walks with Jesus. But the things that are fun to ponder and just be pensive over what can I say Im a geek lol

Questions like Did Adam and Eve have a bellybutton? And the one I truly would love to know the answer to Did the preincarnate- Christ look the same when He appeared in the OT to Abraham (Gen. 18), Gideon (Judges 6:11-26) and Joshua (5:13-15) as He did as the incarnate- Christ in the NT? Did Jesus appearance change because of becoming human?

Yeah, questions are good as long as you can find a truthful answer! I've always wondered what those "living creatures" were that Ezekiel was talking about....they sound pretty crazy...and about the Jesus thing. I think that Jesus did look different before He was born into a human body. God made man in his image so I think Jesus at least resembled a human. But I think the way Jesus is described in revelation fits what other people saw in the OT, and it fits the description of a lot of other heavenly creatures. It might have been symbolic an' everything...but not EVERYTHING in the bible is symbolic...so....who knows. We'll have to wait and see, eh?

That is a great question and I dont have a back-and white, yes, no answer, but what I do know, as to talking about people, is the bible says II Corinthians 3:14 But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. As I pray for those who do not know Jesus yet as Lord and savior, I pray for the veil to be removed and that they will come to the knowledge of Jesus. As for stain, this is my opinion, that yes while he is a fallen angle at best he does not have the Omni attributes of God that God alone has omnipresent (being everywhere at the same time), omniscient (all- knowing), and omnipotent (all powerful) however I think because he knows scripture proof that when Jesus was tempted stain quoted scripture to Him doesnt mean he knows the outcome what I mean is this the first prophecy of our redeemer was in Gen. 3:15 so stain knew it would be a human male that would crush him I personally believe because he knew this but did not know the exact provision of God the God (Jesus) would become flesh and was the sacrificial lamb. he moved upon Pharaoh to kill all the baby boys and when that didnt work he moved upon Herod the kill all the boys under two years which is GREAT news for us because just because satin may think he has a heads up and can get away with something it shows just a pathetically powerless he is and he is included with all principalities, powers and rulers of the darkens (Eph.6 and many other books) that tell un are under the feet of Jesus! However, I think he can use the word to make cookie Christians and cults The Word of God is finished and there is not any new revelation it has all been given in the collective 66 books of the Bible and people that say God told me or showed me this and God has never told anyone before us run from them that is not of God. One thing I do when I read the Bible and I get an idea (believe something has been illuminated to me) I go to the theologians, one of my favorites is Mathew Henry he has been in heaven for about 600 years but there are so many others if God has revealed it to others than its safe but if its not. well Ive missed it.

God didn't choose for us to know everything otherwise He would have given us more than 66 books to read. You seem to have a sense of humor, so that could be a topic to discuss, did God have a sense of humor. In my opinion I believe He did. I enjoy good clean Christian humor as humor is always healing for the soul.

Yes, satin does have some power in this world because God tells us he is as a roaring lion seeking whom he can devour. So for us who are Christians we must be aware that there are those who are of satin who come in "sheeps clothing". However, for those who truely walk in God's Spirit daily, they will be the ones who have the discernmnet to know if any sheep have come in who are not of God.

Does God have a sense of humor? Why of course he does! Psalm 2 speaks of God looking from on high a at the impotence of the nations.

Also, there are a lot of passages which contain a good amount of irony. Just look at the first two chapters of Exodus and see how irony is used by God in order to make a total fool out of pharaoh. He wants to eliminate a population explosion by killing male babies. He wants to limit sexual intercourse by work. He knows so much about child-birth that he instructs the experts in the business to "look upon the pair of stones" in order to discover the gender of the baby. He wants to "act wisely with the Israelites" but all his actions are just contrary to that What a fool! Read the passage and find the rest of the ironies for yourself! And, may I add, doing this is a lot of fun!

Blessings

shalom brethens, for your question, the bible is not hidden from satan, he knows wat is written, he knows his end, if you look into the book of Job, chp 1, vs 1-6, you can see that he goes from earth to heaven, moving up & down, always chellenging & accusing His children.

In Matt 4, vs 3-11, his is always quoting the word of God to tempt Jesus.

This something i thought share with you.
