Understanding Grace Part II (Grace's Relation to Sin)

Praise the Glorious LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST our Hope, our Strength, and our Redeemer. And Peace, Joy, Faith, and Love be to All the saints of GOD.

As we continue on beloved in Understanding the Grace of our GOD. We want to look at the Relation that Grace has to Sin.

Dear Ones remember this that the Good LORD put on my heart.

Grace is not Sin's Friend, But Grace is Sin's End. :applause:

Let me say that again.

Grace is not Sin's Friend, But Grace is Sin's End. :applause:

Beloved, we should never think that through GOD'S grace, we somehow have a license to Sin.

Jude 1:4

For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our GOD into lasciviousness, and denying the only LORD GOD, and our LORD JESUS CHRIST.

What is Sin anyway? Sin is the works of the devil.

What did our LORD JESUS CHRIST come to do?

1Jo 3:8

He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the SON of GOD was manifested, that HE might destroy the works of the devil.

Beloved, JESUS CHRIST our LORD and SAVIOUR came to Destroy the works of the devil.

Yes, the LORD came to Take Away the Sin of the world.

Joh 1:29

The next day John seeth JESUS coming unto him, and saith, Behold the LAMB of GOD, WHICH taketh away the sin of the world. :applause: :glow:

So how do I Spell Grace? V-I-C-T-O-R-Y :applause: :glow:

That's what JESUS the CHRIST gives to All of us who believe on HIS Holy and Righteous NAME; The Complete and Total Victory over Sin. :yay: :applause: :dancingp: :glow: :dunce:

And not Just Some Sin, But All Sin.

Ro 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion (power; authority) over you: for ye are not under the law, but under Grace.

Alleluia...It's Time to Celebrate!!! :bouncy:

As Sinners we were like Prisoners Bound with Heavy Chains and Shackles, but when we came to the LORD JESUS CHRIST, The LORD broke those Chains and Loosed us from those Shackles. Yes, JESUS made us completely Free. :applause:

Aren't you Happy About that? You and I are Free. Free to Sin No More. Alleluia LORD JESUS. :applause:

Joh 8:36

If the SON therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Beloved don't let anyone tell you that you have to Sin. There is no sin, that is a sin, that those who Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST have to sin.

In the New Testament Scriptures, as it relates to a believer sinning against GOD, it's Never stated as When, but Rather "If".

Jas 5:15

And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the LORD shall raise him up; and { if } he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

1Jo 2:1

My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And { if } any man sin, we have an Advocate with the FATHER, JESUS CHRIST the Righteous:

Note: Chapter One of First John speaks of certain being liars if they were actually sinning yet not calling what they were doing sin. Some use those scriptures to say that All Christians Sin or have to sin, but this is not the case.

If this were the case, then John would not have been able to say, " these things write I unto you, that ye sin not."

If it were impossible for us to "Sin Not" then why would he write to us so that we "Sin Not". Ahhh, because as beiievers in CHRIST we truly don't have to sin.

Sinners have to Sin. They are still bound. But those who are saved are Righteous and never termed as sinners as long as they are following the LORD JESUS CHRIST. And we beloved, never have to sin. :glow:

1Pe 4:18

And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear ?

If we had to sin, then that would mean that sin does still have dominion over us, making what Paul said in Romans 6:14 an untrue statement.

So Yes, we can Rejoice that through Faith in our Precious LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST, we have the complete and total V-I-C-T-O-R-Y over All the sins of the world.

1Jo 5:4

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

1Jo 5:5

Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that JESUS is the SON of GOD?

Through Genuine Faith in the SON of GOD, JESUS CHRIST, we the saints of the Most HIGH GOD, have Overcome all the sins of the world. :applause:

Now as we are growing in CHRIST and learning to walk in the Victory that is ours, chances are Believers (esp babes in CHRIST) will probably commit sins. But Never because we have to sin, because we have the Victory through the LORD JESUS.

And our Loving FATHER, through correction helps us to walk in the Victory over sin which HE has Already Given to us.

Heb 12:10

For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but HE (GOD) for our profit, that we might be partakers of HIS Holiness.

Heb 12:14

Follow Peace with all men, and Holiness, without which no man shall see the LORD:

So as it relates to Sin (as we spake of the riches in That Large Bag In Part One of this Lesson) Complete Forgiveness of our Sins as well as Complete Deliverance From our sins are in the Bag. That's a couple of the many things we receive by our GOD'S Great and Glorious Grace.

So that if we as Believers in CHRIST do sin, the Provision is made already for us.

1Jo 1:9

If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So as it relates to Sin, by the Grace of our GOD, through HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, WHO died for us and Rose Again, we the Children of GOD, receive Forgiveness of and Deliverance from All Sin. Amen. Praise the LORD. :applause:

Please be in prayer for me for part 3 of this lesson. Thanks in Advance.

In the love of CHRIST, :glow:

What is sin? 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Ephesians 2:1 AND YOU hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Romans 5:12, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God;

Praise the LORD JESUS CHRIST and peace be unto you peace1964.

Your post here: What is sin? 1 John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Ephesians 2:1 AND YOU hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Romans 5:12, Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. Romans 3:23, For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God

My answer, by the grace of GOD is this: While sin is the transgression of the law, we must remember that the law was "Added" because of Transgression.

This shows us that sin was in the world before the law was added; For the law was added because of Sin.

Ga 3:19

Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

So when I stated, by the grace of GOD that sin is the works of the devil, this is a true statement based on the Holy Scriptures.

For sin was committed in the garden of Eden even before the law was added.

If you agree that lying is a sin, then you must also agree that lying is a work of the devil.

Joh 8:44

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

So when one yields to the lust of the world, who is the father of those lusts?

Anwer: the devil..."the lusts of your father ye will do."

Also, Sin is defined this way:

Ro 14:23

"for whatsoever is not of faith is sin."

Something interesting to add to the above verse is this:

Ga 3:12

And the law is not of faith: but, The man that doeth them shall live in them.

Ummm? The law is Good, but it's not of Faith. Yet sin is the transgression of the law and whatsoever is not of faith is also sin.

Secondly: 1. "were dead in trespasses and sins."

2. "and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

3. " For all have sinned, and come short of the Glory of God."

All of this speaks of past tense. Each of these scriptures are speaking of who we were before coming to CHRIST, WHO makes/made us free from sin.

Those scriptures , however do Not say that Christians are Sinners, who will always sin until the LORD Returns. That's what People teach, but that's not what the WORD of GOD says Anywhere in the New Testament Sciptures after that the HOLY GHOST was given. But if a person thinks that he/she has to sin, then chances are that person will sin.

Pr 23:7

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he:

But you don't have to, if you are saved, because the LORD JESUS CHRIST has made us free. If Christians sin, it's not the Fault of the Good LORD WHO gives us all we Need Not to Sin.

It's a matter of Proper thinking.

Ro 6:11

Likewise reckon (mentally account) ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Remember: Joh 8:36

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

And...

Romans 6:14

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Thanks be to GOD for the Victory which HE has given to us through CHRIST JESUS. Amen.

In the Love of CHRIST,

Thaddeus
