Admin	brother shorty's 60 miles and out " psycho proof" dating rules Posted : 24 Jan, 2021 01:20 PM brother shorty used to be a member on cdff about 10 years ago and he gave some good dating advice tips He said whatever you do don't date someone you work with, live in the same apartment building with, go to school with , why? because if it backfires and they start stalking you it can turn into problems obviously So he suggested that you date somebody 60 miles away or even further from where you live and make sure that person is poor so they cannot afford the gas money nor the long distance phone bill ( you know those midnight hang-up calls) just in case they go psycho and stalk you.......... sound advice honestly ! maybe this has happened to you? So shouldn't we treat temptation like it's a date gone wrong and keep our distance from it? Of course! So here is some helpful tips in dealing with temptation in addition to God’s Word, prayer can help us to resist temptation. The night He was betrayed, Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, and He told Peter to pray “so that you will not fall into temptation” (Mark 14:38). Also, in the “Lord’s Prayer,” Jesus taught us to pray that we would not be led into temptation (Matthew 6:13; Luke 11:4). Yet, when we do fall into temptation, we know that “God is faithful; He will not let us be tempted beyond what [we] can bear,” and that He will provide us with a way out (1 Corinthians 10:13). This is a promise from God, and like Abraham, Christians should be “fully persuaded” that God has the power to do what He has promised (Romans 4:21) PS I don't know whatever happened to brother shorty i can only assume the little romance advice columnist with a big heart met his helpmate Post Reply

Sometimes that isn't easy for some people. I prefer a long distance romance now because I have no room for a smothering guy. I don't depend on dating sites to Meet a date.
