but hamburgers from McDonald's aside sin and pride are the chef causes of spiritual hardened hearts
So, what then is the cure for a heart condition such as this?
Is it
a) add more fruits and veggies to your diet ( i prefer bananas because that's what this post is )
b) more exercise like quit being a couch potato
c) forget eating at mickey D's and go to other fast food places like Burger King and carls Jr Wendy's isn't too bad either
d) all of the above and see below
first and foremost, we have to recognize the effect that this spiritual disease has on us. And God will help us to see our heart’s condition when we ask Him: “Search me O God, and know my heart…see if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting” (Psalm 139:23–24). God can heal any heart once we recognize our disobedience and repent of our sins. But true repentance is more than simply a resolute feeling of steadfast determination. Repentance manifests itself in a changed life.
After repenting of our sins, hard hearts begin to be cured when we study God’s Word. “How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word. I seek you with all my heart. . . . I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you” (Psalm 119:9–11). The Bible is our manual for living as it is “God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16). If we are to live life to the fullest as God intended, we need to study and obey God’s written Word, which not only keeps a heart soft and pure but allows us to be “blessed” in whatever we do (Joshua 1:8; James 1:25).
Hearts can also become hardened when we suffer setbacks and disappointments in life. No one is immune to trials here on earth. Yet, just as steel is forged by a blacksmith’s hammer, so, too, can our faith be strengthened by the trials we encounter in the valleys of life. As Paul encouraged the Romans: “But we also rejoice in our sufferings because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out His love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom He has given us” (Romans 5:3–5)

Not only jesting is ignored to be stopped, but I wont mention much about talking about our belly, as that is the god of man who mind earthly things..
Philippians 3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)
What I will remind us of is being blessed is mentioned in this article.
Is it speaking well this article, or does it contain even much hypocrisy ?
Firstly, the blessed are the undefiled who walk in the law of the Lord.
Jesus became us, to be holy, harmless and undefiled and separate from sinners.
Then who is blessed as per James 1:25 ? Well it is not the ones whop teach they cant avoid being defiled sometimes, it is the ones who believe better than that, and in PURE RELIGION,, to be undefiled before God and to keep ourselves UNSPOTTED, from the world..
Psalm 119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Hebrews 7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
Talking again about all things PURE, TO THE PURE, they also cant be as the defiled as that clearly has testified they are unbelievers. They have their mind and conscience defiled, they profess belief in God, but DENY HIM IN WORKS,, unto every good work morally abandoned(means they lie when they pretend to believe in Christ)
Titus 1:15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.
16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.
Psalm 119:11, mentioned about hiding the Lords word in our heart to not sin against Him. But when they talk of God partially, with agenda, and without understanding, they try to steal from Him and turn the light into darkness.
So the question is, is it deceitful to say we can repent of our sins and to begin to study Gods word to do well ?
Below Psalm 119 tells us about Gods word hid in our heart, but left off the explaining verse that the Lord is the one who will begin teaching us His statutes..
Psalm 119:9 Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
10 With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
Then we see wisdom has to enter our heart, to devil us from that froward speaking man, who rejoice to do evil who are crooked, and the strange woman who flatters with her words, who forget the COVENANT OF GOD..
Proverbs 2:9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.
10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;
12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;
13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;
15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:
16 To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;
17 Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.
That's right, the two peeps on this thread are those ones, speaking of their belly, speaking of man learning of God, and not God learning us. That is because they never had any covenant written in their heart.
Because the covenant will not be as it was, how man cannot continue in the words of God and breaks them.
This covenant, is all God, man does not call himself, choose himself, teach himself, has no faith but what God chooses to give, has no repentance unless granted by God, who knows His own sheep, and rejects those who are not, who never were and never can be. They continue to teach every man, but God has ended them 2000 years ago, what a long time they continued on until they will be stopped as seen even the worst of leaders gets stopped when their time runs out..
Hebrews 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
Ending, how wisdom is, it is through the fear of the Lord, it needs to be given or nobody fears the Lord, as does repentance or nobody repents..
Job 28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.
Isaiah 11:2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;
2 Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

Once again, Adam does what he does best—distort scripture and teach error.
I’ve already tried to help Adam bridge the distinction between the filthy kind of “jesting” not permitted in scripture and having a good clean sense of humor.
Sexual joking and jesting are forbidden in the Bible but a sense of humor is not forbidden, so yes, people may share good clean types of humor.
Also Adam, just because a person wants to share something about a certain restaurant doesn’t mean he worships his belly!
