That we receive the circumcision of Christ, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, to be quickened together with Him to be forgiven of all sins, and now to live unto righteousness as His stripes are what healed us.. Colossians 2:11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 1 Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. Then we understand we do not need future forgiving, as the circumcision is not a token that men do to circumcise in the flesh, it is circumcision of the heart, in the spirit.. Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. Post Reply

So Moon, since the Bible says we CHOOSE to be 'dead to sin' by His POWER from above each and everyday we CHOOSE to hear His Spirit and obey, then why is it you think we live in the flesh while on earth??? The Bible is clear to die to the flesh and so what does that tell you? To live a sinless life after we are born again! Correct? So by His POWER we can die to our flesh! OK? But what about the NEW nature we get when we are born again and By His Spirit? If we CHOOSE that nature (even though we are flesh creatures), then He can keep us righteous which of course is sinless by His POWER! Correct? Post Reply

Why Moon?
