Jesus said, “Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh.” Jesus spoke of rejoicing in His parables in Luke 15—the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the lost son were all found. The result in each case was great rejoicing. He even stated that because he lived in the same flesh as us that he could do nothing without the Father, that is without the Father's power then to do good and live a righteous life of obedience in human flesh! So Moon are we to follow in the Messiah's CHOSEN ways or not? Is that same POWER available to us today that the Messiah tapped into? Post Reply

Did you know he believes in the THEORY of grabbity (secular named 'gravity') that the earth is held in 'orbit' around the suns 'gravity' pull on it and the earth has its 'gravity' pull on the moon BUT somehow the SUN does not have enough 'gravity' pull on the moon over what the earth supposedly has, to cause the moon to go toward the SUN??? Now if that was not hilariously funny in logic to globlet earth shape 'believers' then it would be ultimately STUPID in the reasoning of those FAITHFUL persons then! Right HIC? Post Reply

The references to the “earth” in the Bible are often not references to planetary earth but to a portion of dry land bound by water. For example, Genesis 1:10 says, “God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas” (ESV). “Earth” is mentioned as distinct from “Seas” and cannot refer to Earth as a planet; the same Hebrew word for “Earth” is used in Deuteronomy 13:7 and the other passages listed above........ Some passages do allow for a spherical earth, such as Job 26:7 and Isaiah 40:22. In any event, the Bible is far from affirming a naïve or unscientific understanding of the earth and the solar system. There is simply no basis for the charge that the Bible teaches a flat earth passages that seem to present a flat earth can all be explained when correctly understood -- I suggest FIX A FLAT not only for flat tires but deflated hermeneutics Post Reply
