Admin	Hypostatic Union Posted : 7 Jan, 2021 12:25 PM Hypostatic Union is the union of the two natures (Divine and human) in the person of Jesus. Jesus is God in flesh (John 1:1, 14, 10:30-33, 20:28, Phil. 2:5-8, Heb. 1:8). He is fully God and fully man (Col. 2:9), thus, He has two natures: God and man. He is not half God and half man. He is 100% God and 100% man. He never lost His divinity. He continued to exist as God when He became a man and added human nature to Himself (Phil. 2:5-11). Therefore, there is a “union in one person of a full human nature and fully divine nature.” Right now in Heaven, there is a man, Jesus, who is our Mediator between us and God the Father (1 Tim. 2:5) Post Reply

John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more. Teddyhug^ View Profile History	Hypostatic Union Posted : 11 Jan, 2021 03:08 PM The Bible teaches that we have a 'divine nature' and a 'sinful nature' since Adam and Eve sinned and ate of the forbidden tree of 'good and evil' and then mankind mostly always would rather serve the flesh (sin) which is the 'sinful nature' just as Christ (the WORD) was born in the 'likeness of sinful flesh' as we are yet CHOSE to know NO SIN! So the Father puts a part of Himself, originally His WORD He Created everything by, now in the flesh. (John 1:1-3,14 and Isaiah 9:6) So YHWH the Father which is the Son in the flesh now (becomes like us humans) and is 100% YHWH our Creator, yet 100% human flesh that only he can do by His POWER to be two places at once! He came not ONLY to die for us while we were YET sinners but came to show us >>>AFTER<<< salvation in HOW to live without sin by His POWER through His set apart Holy Spirit! So its just as Moonlight correctly posted in John 10:30 'I and the Father are one' AND THE SAME, BOTH YHWH Almighty and Everlasting Father by Son/WORD! (Isaiah 9:6!) WOOOW!!! PROFOUND TRUTH!!!
