"Because we live in a fallen world and are still fleshly creatures, we will still sin (1 John 1:9; 2:1; Romans 7:21–22)"

1 John 1:9 says we will still sin, or says to confess our sins and to be cleansed from all unrighteousness ?

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Does 1 John 2:1 say, we will still sin, or says that we sin not, and if we sin we have an advocate to forgive us ?

1 John 2:2 does say Christ is the propitiation for the sins of the whole world, but it does not say the whole world is forgiven.

Jesus did say the world does not know Him, but that the Apostles know Him, as He shall be in them, and 1 John 2:3, mentions nothing of us living in sin, but confirms how we know Him will be by keeping His commandments, THAT YE SIN NOT..

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

So far, that article somehow sees the words not told in the verses at all, how we will still sin.

The last claim( as there are only two in the doctrine of the devil) is that somehow Romans 7:21, is saying we still sin ?

But Romans 7:21 says evil is present.

Romans 7:22 says delighting in the law of God after the inward man.

Romans 7:23, reveals how there is a war, and how man is brought into captivity to the law of sin in him...

Romans 7:21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.

22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

Anything else mentioned elsewhere to remind us about captivity ?

Yes there is, and I can understand it too.

The false prophets, as littledavid aka, prophetic, see vain foolish things for everyone. They have no Holy Spirit, and no understanding of what righteousness with God is. To discover our iniquity, is to turn away our captivity which the vain false prophets teach against vainly..

Lamentations 2:14 Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity, to turn away thy captivity; but have seen for thee false burdens and causes of banishment.

Christ captured captivity (captured the devils captivity on us) by receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit for us, by His sacrifice, so that as told above, God dwells among us ( in us )..

Psalm 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the Lord God might dwell among them.

To confirm again how Christ gave us the gifts, for the edifying of the body of Christ, for the perfecting of the saints ( littlerabid labels this heresy )..

Ephesians 4:8 Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.

9 (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?

10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

Now we remember the false prophets idea of Romans 7:21-22, ho evil is present with him, how as per Romans 7:23, he is brought into captivity to the law of sin which is in him.

The Apostles however, are not the devils way, OF BEING BROUGHT INTO CAPTIVITY, they bring all thoughts into captivity to the OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST..

2 Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

That also explains how the devil who leads man into captivity (into sin) will go into captivity together..

Revelation 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.

Of course Romans 7:21-22, only requires us to turn the page, which the slothful cannot seem to do .

Romans 7.23.... " bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members."

FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN

IT WAS WEAK (STILL WEAK IN LITTLERABID)

NOW THAT WEAKNESS CONDEMNED

THAT THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF THE LAW ( OF CHRIST ) IS FULFILLED IN US, WHO DO NOT WALK AFTER THE FLESH AND SPIRIT, BUT WHO WALK AFTER THE SPIRIT..

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Man is never Sinless in the flesh.

The Bible doesn't teach that .

Adam, in his futile rush to undermine sound doctrine, finds himself in a quandary of misquoted Bible verses.

For example, Adam quotes, 1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

All verses Adam quotes do not support his sinful error of sinless perfectionism but the verse above obviously teach against it.

The Bible clearly teaches us, as followers of Christ, NOT to sin but in our weakest moments provides advocacy with the Father through the work and ministry of Jesus Christ

Adam falsely accuses people of loving sin just because they do not join his heretical sinless perfectionism.

Adam doesn’t seem to realize he is sinning when he falsely accuses others in these ways.

Great thread ADAM! You make it sooooo easy for others to understand about Righteousness by FAITH but as you can see the scales have not fallen off the eyes of David yet???

Your right he is 'rabid' in continuing in his 'heretical' always sinning 'perfectionism' ways and I would guess because he has a favorite one that you may remember before, which is of course is the breaking of one particular commandment of the ten. Of course the Bible says when you break one you have broke them all!!!

Just like the verses you quoted in 1 John 2:1-4 that clearly says 'that when we know Him (YHWH), we WILL be keeping His commandments THAT WE SIN NOT!

Note the simple understanding to those living in the Spirit instead of like willful sinners living in the flesh. John says clearly that IF IF IF any man should CHOOSE to sin (go back to the flesh), to NOT live by the Spirit POWER to and 'that ye sin NOT' but have to repent again ,we then have a advocate with the Father thru His Son the Messiah that paid the price (death, not eternal torment as David CULTLY suggest) for all sinners!

Verse 4 - But what about persons like David and Quiz who say they believe in YHWH and CLAIM to 'know him' yet 'do NOT keep His commandments' and what are they then? LIARS and the truth is NOT in them! OUCH!

Your right again Moon “that man is NEVER sinless' while presently living in their sinful nature of flesh! Living in the flesh you always love to sin! Your also right again that the Bible does NOT teach man can be sinless while presently living in sinful flesh and disregarding the POWER from on high to live in the PERFECTION of the Spirit TO SIN NOT!

Wow! David is blind to his ways!? He falsely accuses ADAM of stating 'people loving to sin' in this thread but when you read what he posted above he says NOTHING about it!!! Hmmmm... Must be David s 'heretical' continual sinning 'perfectionism' that he is always talking about and LIVING it clearly here now, as he is a LIAR to what ADAM has ACTUALLY posted!.

David 'doesn’t seem to realize he is' willfully and continually 'sinning when he falsely accuses others (like ADAM) in these ways' !!!

yes 1 John 1 and Romans 7 explained a little further, how the setting free cannot be the captivity to sin.

What prisoner has a cell door opened, and says he is already free ? AND CONTINUES IN CAPTIVITY?

The devil has us captive to sin, while dwelling in man.

The devil is cast out, because the Son of God now claimed the body to dwell in man, and the devil and God do not dwell in the same place at all.

We have an advocate with the Father as we can be born again at any time, it's one of the reasons testifying Christ, because that chance is never cut off, but it's getting nearer to the time and charity needs to be put on.

The new covenant is God writing His laws in us, THIS IS BELIEVING ALL THINGS OF CHRIST, that is knowing God, when He makes Himself known to us, the righteousness of the law is fulfilled in us, including abasing us, humbling us, chastening, great sufferings, so we keep to that new path revealed to us.

All a person has to do is answer what love does, as God, who is love dwells in us now, and that love, does it fail ever, does it think any evil, does it do any evil, does it ever stop being compassionate, does it bear and endure all things, thus fulfilling the law of Christ?

Romans 13:10 LOVE WORKETH NO ILL TO HIS NEIGHBOUR: therefore LOVE IS THE FULFILLING OF THE LAW.

1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, AND SHUTTETH UP HIS BOWELS OF COMPASSSION FROM HIM, HOW DWELLETH THE LOVE OF GOD IN HIM?

1 Corinthians 13:4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,

5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, SEEKETH NOT HER OWN, is not easily provoked, THINKETH NO EVIL;

6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;

7 BEARETH ALL THINGS, BELIEVETH ALL THINGS, hopeth all things, endureth all things.

Galatians 6:2 BEAR YE ONE ANOTHERS BURDENS, and SO FULFIL THE LAW OF CHRIST

Flat Teddy, you apparently haven’t read all of your great teacher Adam’s threads and posts.

Adam has clearly stated and implied that people who don’t buy his false sinless perfectionism want to sin or love to sin.

Flat Teddy, here’s a portion of Adam’s false teaching which includes the bold-faced-lie he tells ON THIS THREAD, not to mention other forums and threads, about others that you conveniently missed.

QUOTE THE FALSE PROPHET ADAM, “The false prophets, as littledavid aka, prophetic, see vain foolish things for everyone. They have no Holy Spirit, and no understanding of what righteousness with God is. >>>>To discover our iniquity, is to turn away our captivity which the vain false prophets teach against vainly..<<<< END QUOTE THE ADAM

Once again, Adam falsely accuses me and others of teaching against turning away from sin.

Flat Teddy, it seems you missed your teacher Adam’s instructions. Aren’t his instructions not important to you?? Yet you defend the words of Adam even if you don’t understood them!
