That would be repentance then, to flee from serving unrighteousness. Then from the heart they serve God with His laws in that heart, which is that form of doctrine delivered to us, to abide in the doctrine of Christ without transgressing it. Being made free from sin is to begin to serve righteousness, what a confused corrupted mind to think you are free to serve both.. Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 2 John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. Adam believes once you become a Christian you automatically stop sinning. He bases that false notion on a handful verses he often quotes out of context in support for the heretical doctrine of perfectionism. Post Reply

You don't just teach 'we are free to sin' BUT that we have a license to sin my 'heretical' continual sinning 'perfectionism' lad! David believes once you become a Christian you automatically have the right to keep on sinning because it brings more glory to YHWH and the NO POWER in you from above then??? Prophetic notoriously taught the notion of Jesus actively breaking the Mosaic law. I strongly defended Jesus as a perfect and sinless law keeper and I defended God’s holy law. And as anyone can read, I never supported, in any way shape or form, a “license to sin”. And Flat Teddy knows this ! It’s very sad when a person, such as Teddy, who can’t debate on the merits, has instead taken the low road and has sunk to the bitter depths of blatant untruthfulness by issuing such personal attacks and false accusations.
