There is no peace to the wicked...
Isaiah 48:22 There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.
Isaiah 57:21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
Then its easy to understand that thew wicked are not kept by the peace of God in their hearts and minds, as that is to know the peace of God...
Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
The peacemakers shall be called the children of God, as the peace of Christ unlike the world knows in dictionaries is given into them.
The meek shall inherit the earth, they are persecuted for righteousness' sake...
John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

The wicked, non persecuted, do not have that peace of Christ within them.
Here is the peace of God, it is lovingkindness and mercies.
The mercies and forgiveness from God are His grace.
The elect, ( the meek knowing the peace of God) put on Jesus Christ.
To put on Jesus Christ is to put on light, the armour of light.
Casting off the works of darkness (iniquities) not in strife and envying, and making provision to fulfil the lusts for the flesh.
Putting on bowels of mercies, kindness, meekness, as these are the peace of God who the meek children of God know....
Jeremiah 16:5 For thus saith the Lord, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor bemoan them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, saith the Lord, even lovingkindness and mercies.
Daniel 9:9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him;

Jesus Christ is the meek also, Christ has to be formed in us, that is the peace spoken of, that is the rest for our souls when we find kindness towards others, as the love of God the wicked claim to believe in, is laying our lives down as God did to show us..

The words Jesus spoke are what we are saved by, and by the works and signs He showed to us.
To be forgiven the wicked without peace, never can understand, or accept, we need to lay aside all filthiness first, to receive with meekness ( receiving that meek quiet Spirit of Christ to know the peace of God 1 Peter 3:4_) otherwise we cannot receive the word of Spirit and life, nor forgiveness..

It is the meek who are guided in that judgment of Christ, the wicked again, hate judgement..

Again Christ rides meekly, but prosperously on the donkey.
Christ came to teach us terrible things.
The terrible things in righteousness God answered us in Christ.
Grace came from the lips of Christ, full of grace and truth..

2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall CONSUME WITH THE SPIRIT OF HIS MOUTH, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:
The terrible one is brought to nothing.
The scorner is consumed.
The wicked lay snares for him that reproves.
Seek the Lord, ye meek, they seek His judgment, they seek His righteousness, they seek His Spirit of meekness to be in them, ( that peace the wicked cannot understand which is God to have kindness and mercy in us) then they may be hid to survive the Lords anger.
Isaiah 29:19 The meek also shall increase their joy in the Lord, and the poor among men shall rejoice in the Holy One of Israel.
20 For the terrible one is brought to nought, and THE SCORNER IS CONSUMED, and all that watch for iniquity are cut off:
21 That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.
Zephaniah 2:3 Seek ye the Lord, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the Lord's anger.
Last instruction for the wicked to "understand"
The people of God, the meek, hide themselves from that anger of the Lord until the indignation is overpast.
The lips of Christ gave that judgment of indignation.
HIs glorious voice with the indignation of HIs anger...
Isaiah 26:20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.
Isaiah 30:27 Behold, the name of the Lord cometh from far, burning with his anger, and the burden thereof is heavy: his lips are full of indignation, and his tongue as a devouring fire:
Isaiah 30:30 And the Lord shall cause his glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of his arm, with the indignation of his anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones.
The latter end is with the indignation accomplished..
Daniel 8:19 And he said, Behold, I will make thee know what shall be in the last end of the indignation: for at the time appointed the end shall be.
Daniel 11:36 And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done.
The contentious do not obey the truth, they receive indignation.
All on earth worship the beast, and shall drink the cup of indignation.
They do not know the mark of the beast is the lie in their right hand..
Romans 2:8 But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Isaiah 44:20 He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.

poor person with not the slightest clue of what right and wrong are, the blind suffer from this as it's a tricky world to navigate with a devil as a lion ready to devour you also.
yes, sinlessness and perfection/mercy, they are the doctrine of Christ you blaspheme and reject daily, they are simple, see again before you blaspheme again..
The higher way than the sinners way, is to love even the ungrateful.
Sinners do all for return of the same, for reward.
The children of the highest do good hoping for nothing in return, to be selfless is their Spirit.
That is to be merciful, as your Father is merciful, but if your father is the devil you are a liar, a sinner and mercilessly self seeking..
Luke 6:31 And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise.
32 For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them.
33 And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
34 And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.
35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.
36 Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
