littlequiznos moonlight and the superficially cleansing of the Pharisee
Posted : 30 Nov, 2020 01:43 AM

The Pharisee looks only on the outside appearance, to wash and the hands become filthy again.

God made the inside Pharisees, it is where God dwells.

Having a giving heart from God makes all things cleaned to us.

But Pharisees pass over the judgement and that love of God of giving, making everything superfiscial, sitting high and looking righteous only on the exterior, but inside they are unclean graves. The Pharisee speaks of tithing, but they give nothing sincerely...

Luke 11:38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.

39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

40 Ye fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

41 But rather give alms of such things as ye have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

The Pharisee, has been told they are not the plant of God, as they are righteous plants.

If a person has not been planted with a new heart by Christ, out of their heart comes evil thoughts, murder and adultery, fornication, thieving and lying blasphemies. These are what the Pharisee does not consider needs washing,l so they remain uncleansed, the Pharisee does not see, they are the BLIND leaders..

Matthew 15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?

13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.

14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.

16 And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?

17 Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

Repeatedly the Pharisee is warned against, they are hypocrites, to pay tithes and seem like giving, but they reject the righteousness of the law, mercy and faith. The BLIND pharisee clean the outside of themselves, and within themselves they are not cleansed of exhortion and excess.

The inside of the cup needs to be cleansed blind pharisee, to take away the exhortion and excess.

The pharisee leaves the heart uncleansed, they hypocritically prefer to be clean superficially, to appear righteous on the outside but inside is an unrighteous uncleansed heart and spirit being FULL OF INIQUITY..

Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

I placed the thread about the wicked, so the wicked can see all they do is known and all revealed.

Favour, grace is shown to the wicked, they will not learn righteousness they deal unjustly.

Isaiah 26:10 Let favour be shewed to the wicked, yet will he not learn righteousness: in the land of uprightness will he deal unjustly, and will not behold the majesty of the Lord.

Here is the teaching of righteousness for the pharisee.

If a person cleans only to become filthy again, what does it profit ?

Does saying Christ makes you clean and sees you as clean even when you do evil, hurting others and serving your own lusts, mean you are clean, or mean you cannot learn righteousness?

If you say you have faith but no works, the pharisee claims that saves them.

But the same way as being cleansed superficially is no cleaning as we hear from Christ, to say be fed and warmed is nothing real at all unless you actually do the things for real, which is cleansing the iniquity away..

James 2:14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?

James 2:16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

Her is that cleansing of the iniquity away, clean water sprinkled onto us, a new heart given to us, a new Spirit given to us, the stony heart of iniquity taken away, to cause us to walk in Gods statutes and to keep and do His judgments now..

Ezekiel 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

This then is not for the pharisees, they cannot even understand what it means to cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, to perfect holiness in the fear of God.

WHY ?

Because they deny the new heart of flesh, they deny the Holy Spirit, they deny perfecting, they deny fearing God, they actually deny all..

2 Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

God predicted the pharisees, the generation pure on the outside but not cleansed by Gods cleansing to the inside as they remain in their filthiness..

Proverbs 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.

13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.

The pharisee also denies God will destroy all who transgress His righteousness of the law.

WHY?

Because they believe in returning to their vomit, the fool is wise in deceit, but returns to his folly, the superficially wicked are exposed, God speaks peace to His saints but they cannot return again to their folly as the fool does..

Psalm 85:8 I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints: but let them not turn again to folly.

Proverbs 26:10 The great God that formed all things both rewardeth the fool, and rewardeth transgressors.

11 As a dog returneth to his vomit, so a fool returneth to his folly.

12 Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? there is more hope of a fool than of him.

Finally the mocking pharisee is rejected by his speaking of great words of vanity, when people are cleansed and escaped from the devil, the devil promises them freedom in Christ. These are servants of sin openly declaring themselves, servants of corruption, and despise the right way to escape from the polluttions of serving sin, and ourselves which is hatred, to tun to Christ with a new cleansed heart and spirit to lay your life down as Christ did with Him in you.

But they turn away from the way of righteousness, the Holy commandment to be Holy with the Holy God, the poharisee turns to his vomit again and his filth..

2 Peter 2:18 For when they speak great swelling words of vanity, they allure through the lusts of the flesh, through much wantonness, those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.

19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.

21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.

22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

I forgot to remind the ones who are not deceived by the deceivers, though it really is too simple to rebuke the blind, when anyone says they are a believer yet they do what shows unbelief, they are already declared as wicked persons, and we to have nothing to do with them..

1 Corinthians 5:9 I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators:

10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world.

11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, IF ANY MAN CALLED A BROTHER BE A FORNICATOR, or COVETOUS, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an EXTORTIONOR; with such an one no not to eat.

12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?

13 But them that are without God judgeth. THEREFORE POUT AWAY FROM YOURSELVES THAT WICKED PERSON.

WHO SAYS THEY CAN DO COVETING AND EXTORTION AND THEY CONFESS THOSE SINS AND NO NEED TO EVER CEASE ?

Seek help from God because you mage yourself look ridiculously disobedient .

You're definitely not a good Witness of the Kingdom of God.

The Pharisees claimed perfection. The Pharisees called everyone else sinners acting as if they were not. Think about that.

Here is a thought for both of you, if you studied Gods words as we are supposed to do with thirst for His righteousness and to show ourselves approved, proving all things of God you might learn to know what you re actually speaking yourselves..

You both said your opinions, that someone should not be calling others as wrong, when they are wrong themselves.

But, if you want to know my opinion, it is Gods word and why the Pharisees were against Christ, and against the Apostles, here is why:

Mark 12:13 And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words.

Luke 16:14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things: and they derided him.

Next is the irony of saying the Pharisees considered themselves perfect, when Christ taught them ho to actually be perfect.

Here in Isaiah Gods Spirit teaches to the blind Pharisees to look and see, who are not blind as He that is perfect, blind without sin that is.

Christ came to earth and magnified the law, fulfilled it, we can see it in a moment.

First Jesus tells the blind Pharisee, if you were blind you should have no sin, the Pharisee is the person disagreeing with all of Christs judgments, then thy know who they are, and they rest the words and derided Christ because thy are covetous. They do not speak in the Lords words, they just deride them. The Pharisee disagrees but Jesus told them if they were blind ( as He) they would have no sin ( to be perfect as thew Lords servant) they disagree and remain in their sin..

Isaiah 42:18 Hear, ye deaf; and look, ye blind, that ye may see.

19 Who is blind, but my servant? or deaf, as my messenger that I sent? who is blind as he that is perfect, and blind as the Lord's servant?

20 Seeing many things, but thou observest not; opening the ears, but he heareth not.

21 The Lord is well pleased for his righteousness' sake; he will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

John 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

40 And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also?

41 Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth.

Christ teaches the judgment He came to set in the world, that unless your righteousness exceeds the Pharisees you do not enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. The Pharisees do not believe in doing righteousness.

Cannot be angry without cause, or be in danger of hell fire.

Have to love the ungrateful, above what sinners and publicans do, to be perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect..

Matthew 5:19 Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

20 For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

Matthew 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

Last today for you, is the Pharisees are the example of believing in Christ, but never confess truly, as they love the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Read and be honest ? The uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the law, then is counted as circumcision. This is the circumcision of Christ if you believed in it.

Amazingly for the thread title of the Pharisee only cleaning the outside, it all is together LOOK, the jew/Pharisee is not one outwardly, as they who clean the outside only and are within full of filthiness, but he is a Jew when circumcised inside in the heart, in the Spirit, as then the praise is not of men but of God...........................................................................

John 12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

Romans 2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?

28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:

29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Also the warning comes from Christ to beware of these tricky Pharisees but their doctrine is hypocrisy, they speak saying they follow Christ but they try to turn Christ into the minister of sin for their sinning:

Luke 12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

Has anyone on the forum ot fear of God, if you do you will know you fear for a reason, to avoid being cast into hell:

Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows.

How does anyone on this forum think you deny Christ ? Not by dong well, by doing evil:

Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

9 But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Titus 1:14 Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

15 Unto the pure all things are pure: but unto them that are defiled and unbelieving is nothing pure; but even their mind and conscience is defiled.

16 THEY PROFESS THAT THEY KNOW GOD; BUT IN WORKS THEY DENY HIM BEING ABOMINABLE, AND DISOBEDIENT, AND UNTO EVERY GOOD WORK REPROBATE.

Adam, you keep missing one thing.

The Pharisees were always concerned with everybody else’s sin.

Like you, they never looked inside themselves!!

I guess it’s less scary to look at other people’s sins.

David, you keep missing the BIG picture thing! The Pharisees were ADDING to the Torah law that was not WRITTEN by Moses, nor changed by the Messiah during His ministry on earth! The Pharisees were stating NEW man made laws like the washing of cups and such and also ADDING to what you can do and not do on the HOLY SABBATH day. Accusing the Apostles and the Messiah of breaking traditional made up laws that were NOT in the Torah law, like 'harvesting' grain with hands while walking with the Messiah on the SABBATH day through ripe fields of ready grain etc. Just as the wicked false teacher Richard7744 taught that the Messiah broke Torah Law, which of course you know is not true, then comes you David teaching the Messiah Yah'shua came to do away with the SABBATH day at his death when He IS A JEW! Supposedly doing away with 'Judaism' as you stated before??? Absurdity dude and you have ZERO Scripture to support that theory from the Bible, just like your 'gravity' theory!

So actually the Pharisees were concerned with everybody breaking their NEW man made traditional laws and therefore the people's supposed sin! Get it right David or do you know your Bible yet? The Pharisees were selfmade LEGALIST to their interpretation of Torah Law, just as 'churches' today are a type of legalism in the traditions and laws of man claiming SUNday or SATURNday is a NEW Law found in the Bible! REALLY???

Unlike Adam, you never look inside yourself to see if you are teaching false doctrine and incomplete interpretation of Scripture like the Pharisees did! Hmmmmm.

I would suppose its less scary for you David because you have a license to sin, that is you teach 'righteousness by continual sinning' and 'traditionalism' in your denomination, so you can focus on make believe so called 'sins' of Adam that are just not found on this forum.

The Sabbath was made for man, and Christ is the Lord of the Sabboath.

God rested on the seventh day, as all His works were finished.

We are not finished, we do the works of God, just as everyone can do good on the Sabbath, that is what Christ showed us, not to value one day above another, but to live the day for mercy. Why else is Christ the same yesterday, to day and for ever.

That is the purpose of cleansing, to cleanse away vanity, and what remains is purpose, Gods purpose in us. Cleans us from the wicked one so we serve without self seeking and by laying our life down is how the Son served the Father and us, with the Son in us we would do the same.

Adam, I know you rarely if ever answer questions but I’ll ask anyway.

Is the “cleansing”, of which you speak, a one time act or is it a daily cleansing? Please explain
