Pay attention now, I am not finding fault in Gods word, only in your words, because they are different than the scriptures you have given. The gift saves the person themself,IF, they pay attention to themselves ( if they are obeying the doctrine) paying attention to the doctrine of Christ. Also others who are given ears o hear with by Christ, are saved too, by the same way, to pay attention to themselves, and to the doctrine, which is continuing in them AS TOLD? 1 Timothy 4:13 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. 14 Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. 15 Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. 16 Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. to continue in them and to pay attention to ourselves: James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. will you answer to God one day why you accused these words of spreading false doctrine? I posted on what you left out of the topic, from the chapter and verses your topic is on, it cant ruin it, unless replacing what you left out ruins things and is not encouraging to you. If others think that is encouragement, they will think encourgement is when the devil says you will not surely die after God said you will die and they did die. Post Reply
