What was a top sin of ancient towns of the plain Sodom and Gomorrah for which God destroyed them from the face of the Earth 4,000 years ago ? This important Biblical history event was recorded in Genesis 19:1-29 , the first book in the Old Testament. As we study about as God sent two His angels disguise as humans to city of sin Sodom where righteous Lot, Abraham's nephew, met them. Lot met those two angels, bowed down before them, and urged them to come into his house for a night. First, the angels told Lot that they will spend night on open city's street, but Lot pushed them away from city streets into his home. We know what was wrong with men of Sodom and what they die among themselves and what they did with visitors to Sodom. Later as Lot treated these two angels with a supper and they were ready for bed, all males of Sodom encompassed Lot's house. Lot came to these people. They asked Lot to surrender his guests, so they will do sex with angels. As Lot offered these perverts his two virgin daughters, these men got mad. They wanted to brake in into Lot's house, kill Lot and his family, so they could have an easy access to get these angels to gang rape them. So angels pulled Lot to safety, blinded those mad sodomites, and told Lot to run from Sodom, because angels came to destroy Sodom for its disgusting sin.
So question is. What was the top sin of Sodom and Gomorrah ? It was homosexuality. The same as the entire Western world including America is plagued by this perversion today.
