Once again you have taken a subject that you think people should read, then you find a verse or two of Scripture that speaks about that subject, yet you deceive the people.
Adam, you do not give the context about the Scripture you post, lets look at 2 Peter 3 which you only posted verse 14 - 17, while leaving the context out, thus deceiving people into believing FALSE Doctrines you post.

Verses 14 & 17 start with the word THEREFORE,
This shows that the context starts in the previous verse or verses.
The context starts in verse in verse 8, which Adam so conveniently leaves out, in order to deceive the people.

The Bible is NOT saying that people who willfully commit a sin aren’t saved. It’s rather affirming that those who willfully continue in ongoing sin prove they are not saved.
The Greek language chosen by the Holy Spirit bears this out.
It doesn’t mean those who occasionally yield to the pull of the old nature and sin are not saved. John clearly says we must confess our sins and Jesus said the same thing in the Lord’s Prayer.
The distinction is between those who sin continually like before as if they have no Holy Spirit conviction or promptings against sinning against God. These continue in the habit of sinning just like they did before they claimed to be “saved”. These people sin as if no conversion ever took place, thus proving their conversion was not real.
In distinction to the one who loves to sin, see Romans 7 . The genuine believers fight against sin is real and sometimes ends with defeat! The true believer hates sin but finds himself sometimes yielding to the sin he hates!
But ALL believers should continue reading to the rejoicing in the victory of Christ Jesus that starts in Romans 2!!

Luke 11:1-4: The **DISCIPLES** asked Jesus, "Lord teach **US** to pray." Jesus replied **TO HIS DISCIPLES**, "When you pray, say: '**FATHER**, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Give us each day our **DAILY** bread. **FORGIVE US OUR SINS**, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us!'"
James 5:16: **CONFESS YOUR SINS** to each other and pray for each other!!
Revelation 3:19: Jesus says, "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline, so be earnest and **REPENT**!!" {**OF YOUR SINS**!!}
Hebrews 12:5-11: Do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when He rebukes you, because the Lord disciplines those He loves, and He chastens **EVERYONE** HE ACCEPTS AS A SON**!!! Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as His children. For what children are not disciplined by their father {FOR THEIR SINS**}? If you are not disciplined--and everyone undergoes discipline--**THEN YOU ARE NOT LEGITIMATE**, not true sons and daughters at all. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us{FOR OUR SINS!} and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of spirits and live! They disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in His holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it!
Galatians 6:1: Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you may also be tempted. Carry each others burdens, and in this way you fulfill the law of Christ!!
