The Greek word translated “rebellion” or “falling away” in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 above is **APOSTASIA**, from which we get the English word **APOSTASY**. It refers to a general defection from the true God, the Bible, and the Christian faith.
I Timothy 4:1-4: The Spirit clearly says that in **LATER TIMES** some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons. Such teachings come through hypocritical liars whose consciences have seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from cretain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth. For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with tthanksgiving, because it is consecrated by the Word of God and prayer!
2 Timothy 3:1-5: But mark this: There will be terrible times in the **LAST DAYS**. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God--having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people..
2 Timothy 4:3,4: For the time will come when people {ike Quiznos}will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their eyes from the truth and turn aside to myths!
2 Corinthians 11:13-15: For such people are false prophets, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve!

Yes, but some will fall away and are falling away long before the “great rebellion”.
Some have fallen away from the sound doctrine of the perfection of Christ by falsely claiming Jesus was a lawbreaker. But Jesus says he never broke a single law, (since sin is lawlessness and only sinners break the law). So Jesus, who obeyed God’s law perfectly, is being maligned as a lawbreaker.
Some people, on this forum, teach that Jesus, who truly claimed to be equal with God, was really not co-equal with God the Father. Thus these people are calling Jesus a liar.
Some people, also appearing on this forum, even believe the lie that the Holy Spirit is not referred to as God in the Bible!!
This is just the tip of a gargantuan ice berg of false doctrines believed by those claiming to be Christian.
So, yes, there has always been evidence of a falling away among some people both inside the “church” and outside the church. Sooner or later the “great falling away“ will occur

I Corinthians 11:14-16: Does not the very nature of things teach that **IF A MAN HAS LONG HAIR** it is a **DISGRACE TO HIM** , but that if a woman has long hair , it is her glory. For long hair is given to her as a covering. If anyone {Like LittlestDavid} wants to be contentious about this, we have **NO OTHER PRACTICE**--nor do the churches of God!!

Prophetic gets angry at me because I keep refuting his many false teachings.
One of his favorite false teachings is about Jesus breaking the laws of God.
But Jesus says he didn’t come to break the law of God. But prophetic 7754 disagrees with Jesus and accuses him of breaking many laws just like the false teachers had accused Jesus years earlier.
Prophetic thinks quoting large sections of scripture means he loves God’s word. But many false teachers and even Satan quotes and twists large sections of God’s word In order to make it support their false teachings.
Case in point: notice that prophet 7744 can’t refute his claim Jesus broke many laws so he just quotes a Corinthian passage out of context about hair.
But prophetic 7744 inadvertently provides yet another example of how he twists scripture to make it fit his own false notions.
For example, he thinks hair, approximately 3-5 inch in length on top of a man’s head is short hair but hair appropriately 3-5 inch in length on the side of a man’s head is long hair!!
That’s very ridicules, you say and you would be right!
Several important lessons can be learned from prophetic 7744’s false method of interpreting the Bible.
First, we must interpret the Bible in reference to its original historical context.
Second, we must interpret the Bible by understanding its original languages in their historical contexts and customs. In other words, what does the Bible mean by what it says in its original context and in its original languages?
Prophetic, on the other hand, has concocted his own method of interpretation that distorts true original through modern lens.
Thus prophetic 7744 ignorantly removes scripture from its original historic and linguistic contexts.

It is obvious that this worldwide plague is a message **FROM GOD**!! There are some like Littlest David and TeddHugger who strongly imply that Satan started this Coronavirus and God couldn't stop it, or it was a complete accident and God couldn't stop it? or China started the coronavirus and God couldn't stop it??
They would agree with the government that all the churches should be closed and you should only witness to people when they are over 6 feet away while you are both wearing **MASKS**???
The Olivet prophecies of Jesus are found in Matthew 24 and 25, Mark 13 and Luke 21. Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 tells us what will take place just before the Great Tribulation, what will take place during the 1260-day Great Tribulation and the second Coming of Jesus on the Last Day of the Great Tribulation. And then Matthew 25:31-46 tells about the judgment of the saved and lost just after the 2nd Coming of Jesus. However none of the plagues related to the End Times will hurt any of God's saints as shown by Revelation 9:4,20,21; 11:5; 16:2,5,6,7,9,11,21. God's wrath is mentioned 11 times in Revelation and every time God's wrath only hurt the unsaved.
Revelation 16:2,8,9" The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly festering sores broke out on the people who had the mark of the beast and worshiped his image.... The 4th angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat and the cursed the name of God, who **HAD CONTROL** over these plagues.

It’s always wonderful, necessary and it’s commanded by God to share the good news about the truth of salvation from God’s coming wrath and judgement.
God’s good news is about salvation which was provided by God, through Jesus’ Christ’s holy OBEDIENT life to God’s entire law and his obedient death on the cross and his resurrection from the dead.
Sadly, not everyone posting scripture online or on their cars or knocking on doors with the Bible in hand are genuine believers.
Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons and other cults earnestly share their false doctrines of faith which include salvation by the good works of human effort.
Some false teachers also distort the God of the Bible by denying the doctrine of the Trinity.
They deny some or all of the 3 persons making up the God head. Or they deny that that God is made up of 3 co-eternal and co-equal persons in the God head—the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
All through the Bible is replete with warnings to believers about false teachers entering the church and about how they parade their false doctrines everywhere imaginable even in their Bible studies throughout the world, many false teachers go undetected.
Fortunately prophetic 7744 believes some doctrines that are so obviously false that many people quickly identify them and refute them. Unfortunately his other false doctrines are harder to refute.
But it’s always dangerous to expose a false teacher’s false doctrines because false prophetic’s don’t like being exposed and they will turn on you like an angry animal and lie about you just like they lie about Jesus. Prophetic has turned on me and has lied about me just like he has lied about others on this forum.
