Admin	Does God give us dreams? Posted : 22 Jun, 2020 06:27 PM I believe some dreams we have when we go to sleep does come from God, but I also believe the devil can give us dreams as well. For example, not to long ago I went to sleep one night and I kept having these constant nightmares and I kept waking up with my heart racing. Then I prayed for God to let me go to sleep so I could get up early for church that morning, and those nightmares and I slept like a baby, thank God. I believe sometimes the devil can give us certain dreams and nightmares to turn us away from God or to scare us. I also believe that God also lets us have certain bad dreams as well as well as good. Example of a bad dream, I dreamt that I was in this store and the there were snakes outside. Just then there was this loud noise and all the snakes slithered away. It was scary, but I believe that this dream was from God. I believe He was telling me that He will provide for me and that He will protect me from my enemies. I also believe God gives us good dreams, peaceful dreams. For example, there's two dreams that I had that I know for a fact was from God. The first one I was standing on this huge rock in the middle of a peaceful ocean. I was all dressed up and there was a woman wearing a white dress standing there with me. We both danced on that rock as the sun went down making the a beautiful orange color. The second one had me on a beach. The sun was setting, again the sky a beautiful orange color. The ocean was peaceful. On the beach there was a house. There were two women waiting for me. One was my mother, and the other was a woman I've never met before. But we must have known each other in the dream, because she ran to me and hugged me. I always think of these two dreams every time I feel lonely. God is good. Posted : 23 Jun, 2020 04:21 PM Morgan, I cannot count how many times i have dreamt about reading the Word, while teaching the Word of GOD Almighty with others. When i wake i remember reading the Word the chapter and some of the people and their names. The dreams are so real. i smell the rain when raining, remember the people and their names, sometimes i hear myself talking with people. Post Reply
Moonlight7 View Profile History	Does God give us dreams? Posted : 24 Jun, 2020 06:22 AM Msny dreams come from our own personal thoughts. Subconscious but are still there and when we sleep they come to surface. Dreams are not actions! Actions can be sinful. Post Reply
View Profile History	Does God give us dreams? Posted : 24 Jun, 2020 08:31 PM I'm wary of giving Satan too much credit. He's not God and it's important to remember that. But, yes, I do believe that God can and will give dreams to people. I don't know how anyone cannot believe that when there are several examples of him doing so in the Bible. Post Reply

Posted : 27 Jun, 2020 08:27 PM The only cautionary approach to “God giving us dreams” is to avoid Charismatic confusion concerning modern “dreams and visions” supposedly from God that some wrongly believe are on par with what took place between God and Abraham, Joseph, Peter and others who were truly given dreams direct from God for a specific purpose!! These dreams and visions were consistent with the >>basic theme<< of scripture that began in Genesis and ended in Revelation. Post Reply
