Posted : 23 May, 2020 06:22 AM I have posted before that the ' church ' is a BUSINESS,a very big business. The government is over the so called ' church ' because the ' church ' has taken the 501C3 CORPORATION TAX EXEMPT status so as to not pay taxes, thus violating the Word of MESSIAH. Matthew 17 verses 24 - 27 The Tribute Money 24 When they came to Capernaum, those who collected the two-drachma [tax] came to Peter and said, "Does your teacher not pay the two-drachma [tax]?" 25 He said, "Yes." And when he came into the house, Jesus spoke to him first, saying, "What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth collect customs or poll-tax, from their sons or from strangers?" 26 When Peter said, "From strangers," Jesus said to him, "Then the sons are exempt. 27 "However, so that we do not offend them, go to the sea and throw in a hook, and take the first fish that comes up; and when you open its mouth, you will find a shekel. Take that and give it to them for you and Me. The ' church ' has violated the Word of GOD Almighty since its inception by rejecting the Word of GOD Almighty about Elders (plural), not a self proclaimed pastor (singular), and many other violations of the Word. For example, the Bible knows nothing about “self proclaimed pastors” usurping the role of church leadership. Unfortunately many unqualified pastors “teach” and “lead”. But the Bible says a >>even a deacon<< must qualify!! 1 Timothy 3:10 They must first be >>tested<<; and >>then<< if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. “Testing” means people means different things to different people. Sadly the qualifications for both a deacon and an elder laid out by Paul are largely ignored. Basically all a “pastor” needs today, in many churches, is the gift of gab and be likable!! Also the verses above from Mathew mean Kings collect money from others, not from their sons. Has nothing to do with churches being a business or churches being under government control or about churches paying taxes. Post Reply

Posted : 23 May, 2020 08:32 PM that's why I attend a church that has no "headmaster" -- any repairs or wages or help for the poor is taken from whatever the congregation provides. A lady who attends the church keeps the books and they are small - like any small business. These TV preachers, videos, healing like Oral Roberts used to do, all the fake things people are told are disgraceful. Post Reply
