I have been kind of busy lately but here I 'am! This is in response to what Richard the pathetic7744 false teacher posted, quote-

Thank you Ted, the Pinocchio Prophet has once again ripped a verse from its context and divorced it from it’s original meaning.
Jesus did not violate the Mosaic dietary laws!! Otherwise, why hadn’t Peter yet eaten any forbidden foods as indicated in Acts11:7Then I heard a voice saying to me, ‘Get up, Peter, kill and eat.’
8‘No, Lord,’ I said, ‘for >>>nothing impure or unclean has ever<<< entered my mouth.’
9But the voice spoke from heaven a second time, ‘Do not call anything impure that God has made clean.’
We can clearly see the Jewish dietary laws WERE in effect until AFTER Jesus had FULFILLED (not broke) the law, died and rose again!!
So what about the translation of the phrase that seems to indicate “Jesus made all foods clean...”, prior to his death and resurrection?
As you indicated, the phrase was translated more clearly in alternative translations, (that’s another good argument for checking different translations). But besides that, we must ALSO examine the fuller context!! (I keep hammering that point home but l’m still not getting through for some reason.)
The fuller context invokes the Jewish hand washing >>tradition<< NOT THE LAW!!! Jesus was simply saying that food eaten with unwashed hands does NOT contaminate the heart!!! OBVIOUSLY the food eaten with ceremonially unwashed hands is not the fault for an impure thought life!!! So obviously murders, adulteries and such come from WITHIN a man not because of what goes on his mouth!!!

Ted, I just want to add that we’ve had some disagreements and some spirited exchanges but still remain friends.
Sadly, some people on here think disagreements are sinful so they cry foul, don’t wanna play anymore so they take their ball and go home.
Others think all debate is flat out wrong and claim it makes people turn from Christianity!! I’ve been around for 66 years and l don’t know of anyone who has ultimately rejected Christ just because someone argued. But I have found atheists and rebels who’ve used just about any excuse they can find to justify their unbelief!!

Thanks David for your MUCH better writing on the subject study, since I don't have the college training you do in better English presentation in description. Thanks for making it sooooo much clearer in how you write AND bringing up MORE evidence in Scripture like faithful Torah Law keeper Peter! Just imagine at first Peter wondering why YHWH was telling him to rise up and eat so many creatures, even unclean ones, then realizing later he was NOT to call gentiles unclean for the CONTEXT!
Its sad that Richard wants to continue on living in sin twisting Bible verses out of CONTEXT to meet his agenda in the life of his diet in his own self righteousness. But you know David its never too late for change, repent, as long as our toes are pointed horizontally, right? That's the way I see it and I want others to warn me if they see me sinning - James 5:20! Its all fair to me!

Richard, if you see fit, I’m willing to see if we can somehow resolve our differences over doctrine and such or in some way try to form an better debate relationship.
I know you’ve called me a liar many times and perhaps I may have misrepresented you in some cases but l never intended to do that.
As you know, some time back I became aware, at least on 2 occasions, of misquoting you and l tried to repost my errors and make corrections.
I’ve read your testimony and from that I think you might be Christian but I believe you hold some false beliefs. I’m sure you believe I hold some false teachings.
Regardless, if you find it in yourself, I would like to see if we can find a better way to communicate on this forum. You don’t have to agree with me on everything. But whatever the case, at least we can try to find a better way to vigorously disagree. If want to reject my offer, that’s ok too. Either way, Best regards, Dave
