Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
One issue surfaces in several of Paul's letters: What GOOD is the LAW?
The Law reveals a basic code of morality. The law is good for one thing: Exposing sin.
vs. 7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
He goes on to state the following:
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
Then down to vs.25
25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.
8 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
(Carnal Vs. Spiritual)
What Paul is saying is we need help to serve in the new way of the Spirit and not in the old way of the written code.
so my question is :What exactly DID Yeshua nail to the cross?
Was it ordinances that was against the populace? The sin record.
""Paul **NEVER** recommends discarding the OT law"???
**BUT WHAT DOES GOD's WORD SAY**??
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the {**OT**} law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE {**OT**} LAW!!"
*WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!
Galatians 2:14-16,20,21; Paul said, When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Peter in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs? We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' know that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that **WE MAY BE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH IN CHRIST AND NOT BY OBSERVING THE LAW , BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW **NO ONE** WILL BE JUSTIFIED**!!
Galatians 2:20,21: The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"
Galatians 3:10-13: "All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." The law is not based on faith; on the contrary, "The man who does these things will live by them." Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us!
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, *WE* ARE NO LONGER UNDER THE SUPERVISION OF THE LAW!!"
Hebrews 7:18,19: The former regulation is SET ASIDE because it was weak and useless; for the law made nothing perfect, and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.!
Hebrews 8:8,9,13: "The time is coming." says the Lord, "when I will make a New Covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah".... By calling this Covenant "NEW", He has made the first one OBSOLETE; and what is OBSOLETE and aging will soon disappear." {When the New Testament was completed and distributed to the churches}
Hebrews 8:6: But the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is Mediator is SUPERIOR TO THE OLD ONE, and it is founded on better promises.
Hebrews 10:8-10: Jesus said to His Father, "Sacrifices and offerings , burnt offerings and sin offerings **YOU DID NOT DESIRE** nor were you pleased with them--though they were offered in accordance with the law. Then Jesus said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will!" He **SETS ASIDE THE FIRST** to establish the second. And by that will, we have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Jesus once for all!
Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a **SABBATH** day. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!!
So you believe that Paul teaches we are to keep the law. Perhaps you mean the moral commands. But having read your other posts, I realize that you do believe in a keeping of the law, but only in a limited form. Is that a fair statement of what you believe? You don't believe in keeping ALL the ceremonies and rituals of the law. If you did you would teach men should be circumcised. And men and women could not wear clothes of mixed materials. Of course, you and I know there are many other commands in the law that relate to such external rituals.
Wouldn't you say that acts 15 shows that gentiles are in no way under any of the ceremonies, rituals and external obligations of the law? If gentiles are not under circumcision which is the rite of initiation for Israel, they are not under any of the other rituals and ceremonies.
Galatians 5:2-3 it is the person who is circumcised who is obligated to keep the WHOLE law. But if you are circumcised, Christ becomes of no value, no benefit, no profit to us.
LittlestDavid has Satanically stated that Jesus never broke **ANY OLD TESTAMENT LAWS** and never taught us to break any Old Testament Laws???
**BUT WHAT DOES GOD'S WORD SAY**
Luke 13:10-14: On the **SABBATH** Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues, and a woman was there who had been crippled by a spirit for 18 years. She was bent over and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her forward and said to her "Woman you are set freefrom your infirmity. Then He put His hands on her and immediately she straightened up and praised God. Indignant because Jesus healed on the **SABBATH**, the synagogue leader said to the people, "There are six days for work. So come and be healed on those days, not on the **SABBATH**!" {As per Exodus 20:9,10}
Three times Jesus healed people on the Sabbath which was breaking the OT law since doctors could only heal people on the 6 days before the Sabbath but not on the Sabbath unless the person had to be healed immediately!
Exodus 31:14-16: Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do **ANY WORK** on that day must be **CUT OFF** from their people... Whoever does **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath day is to be put to death!
Exodus 35:2,3; Whoever does **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath must be put to death. Do not **LIGHT A FIRE** in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.
Matthew 12:1-12: Jesus went through the grainfields on the **SABBATH**. His disciples were hungry and began to pick some heads of grain and eat them. When the Pharisees saw this, the said to Him, "Look your disciples are doing what is **UNLAWFUL ON THE SABBATH**. Jesus answered, "Haven't you heard of what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread--which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests... If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is **LORD OF THE SABBATH**!" Going from that place, Jesus went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to being charges against Jesus, they asked Him, "IS IT LAWFUL TO HEAL ON THE SABBATH?" Jesus said to the, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath?" Jesus said to them, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? Therefore it is lawful to do good {*WORK*} on the Sabbath!"
John 5:16-18: So because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute Him. In his defense Jesus said to them. "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and **I TOO AM **WORKING**!" For this reason they tried all the more to kill Him; not only was **HE BREAKING THE SABBATH**, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 9:16: The Pharisees said of Jesus, "This man is not from God , for He does **NOT KEEP THE SABBATH**!"
Jesus also taught all His disciples that they could immediately eat any **UNCLEAN FOODS** that are mentioned in Exodus 11:1-47! thus breaking 15 OT dietary laws!!
Mark 7:18,19: Jesus says, "Are you so dull?" He asked. "Don't you see that nothing that enters a man from the outside can make him 'unclean'? For it doesn't go into his heart but into his stomach, and then out of his body." In saying this. Jesus declared **ALL FOODS "CLEAN **. For what comes out of a person is what defiles them. For it is from within, out of a person's heart, that evil thoughts come, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils com from inside and make a man **UNCLEAN**!"
And so now everyone can eat Shrimp and Lobster tails which are yum, yum yummy and so good for the tummy!!
I fail to see any mention of ceremonial law keeping or salvation by keeping the law or anything Paul contrary to Paul’s teaching about grace in KJVO’s post, in fact, quite the opposite.
If I’m missing something then would someone cite a quote that I may have missed?

It’s always good to be alert to the extreme false teaching of prophetic 7744, the arch-heretic of CDFF.
I suppose some site’s see a need for an onboard heretic perhaps because of the lively discussion they create. And so the Pinocchio Prophetic has found a place to roost here. But somebody must take the responsibility to clean up all the heretical droppings.
Keep in mind this VERY EVIL false prophet claims “Jesus broke many laws” thus making Jesus a lawbreaker and a liar because to the contrary, Jesus very emphatically said he DID NOT break any laws.
Jesus DID NOT break any laws (if you chose to believe him) but he did trample afoot the demonic anti-law traditions of the false teachers.
But contrary to many “civil and nice Christians” today who just seem to “love” false teachers while hating those who expose them, Jesus spoke out against false teachers and their evil traditions. He even called them “snakes, white washed tombs and hypocrites”!! Oh I can see these “civil Christians” shrinking in horror at the thought off that
In Jesus day, false teachers routinely corrupted the Mosaic law by nullification with their demonic manmade traditions just like the false prophet 7744 has been doing nearly every day here.
I notice I’m the only one calling out the false prophet 7744, especially his attempts to make Jesus out to be a sinful lawbreaker. I hope I’m mistaken but it appears no one else seems to care about Jesus’ true reputation as the sinless Son of God.
