If anyone here is interested in the Sabbath or Biblical Holy Days then feel free to write for fellowship. Please don't flood this topic with books on why the Sabbath or Holy Days are obsolete. I'm not trying to start a debate. Please respect other people's denomination and beliefs. Even if you think they are wrong. Agree to disagree and leave it at that. Please do not turn this topic into a debate. Shalom.

Jesus answered, "Haven't you heard of what David did when he and his companions were hungry? He entered the house of God, and he and his companions ate the consecrated bread--which was not lawful for them to do, but only for the priests... If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy not sacrifice, you would not have condemned the innocent. For the Son of Man is **LORD OF THE SABBATH**!" Going from that place, Jesus went into their synagogue, and a man with a shriveled hand was there. Looking for a reason to being charges against Jesus, they asked Him, "IS IT LAWFUL TO HEAL ON THE SABBATH?" Jesus said to the, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath?" Jesus said to them, "If any of you has a sheep and it falls into a pit on the Sabbath, will you not take hold of it and lift it out? Therefore it is lawful to do good {*WORK*} on the Sabbath!"
John 5:16-18: So because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jewish leaders began to persecute Him. In his defense Jesus said to them. "My Father is always at His work to this very day, and **I TOO AM **WORKING**!" For this reason they tried all the more to kill Him; not only was **HE BREAKING THE SABBATH**, but He was even calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God.
John 9:16: The Pharisees said of Jesus, "This man is not from God , for He does **NOT KEEP THE SABBATH**!"
Colossians 2:16,17: Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you **EAT** or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a **SABBATH DAY**. These are a *SHADOW* of the things that were to come, the reality, however, is found in Christ!!!
Galatians 4:9,10: How is it that you are turning back to those weak and miserable principles? Do you want to be enslaved by them all over again? You are observing **SPECIAL DAYS** and months and seasons and years. I fear for you. that somehow I have wasted my efforts on you!!\
Old Testament Laws for the Sabbath Day:
Exodus 31:14-16: Observe the Sabbath, because it is holy to you. Anyone who desecrates it is to be put to death; those who do **ANY WORK** on that day must be **CUT OFF** from their people... Whoever does **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath day is to be **PUT TO DEATH**!"
Exodus 35:2,3; Whoever does **ANY WORK** on the Sabbath **MUST BE PUT TO DEATH** Do not **LIGHT A FIRE** in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.
I Corinthians 9:21: I am under **CHRIST'S LAW**!!
Galatians 6:2: Fulfill the **LAW OF CHRIST**!!
Galatians 3:23-25: "Before faith came, we were held prisoners by the {**OT**} law, locked up until faith should be revealed. Well it didn't take long for my topic rules to be ignored and for you to flood this topic with a book against my beliefs, false prophetic7744. You are accusing our Lord of sinning. He did not sin. He did not break the Sabbath. He was falsely accused.

The priests work on the Sabbath. Who is the High Priest? I stated clearly that this topic was not intended to be a debate. But you chose to be a total "you know what" and ruined my topic which was about finding fellowship with like minded believers. Your Bible is different than my Bible. Your interpretation of it is different than mine. Just as it is different than Catholic, Orthodox, Ethiopian, Baptist, Lutheran, Mennonite, Quaker, Amish, Seventh Day Adventist, Jehovah's Witness, and all the other denominations with Bibles in different languages. Just because you think you know better than me doesn't mean you do. Try being humble instead of arrogant. I am not a "KJV only" Protestant. I prefer to study the Bible in the original languages and cultural context. You can't just throw away the entire OT. If you only go by the NT then lots of sins would be acceptable, like incest for example. There is no command in the NT against it. You throw away the OT yet continue to keep many of the laws that are ONLY found in the OT. The Bible isn't meant to be viewed in 2 sections. It is a collection of Books and not all denominations agree which Books belong in it. The verses you posted are mistranslated, biased, out of context, and contradictory. You clearly have little or no knowledge of Greek based on your ridiculous and dangerous posts about Holy kissing. How would you like it if every time you post a topic in the forums I flooded it with 100's of posts accusing you and contradicting you?

Therefore go and make disciples of *ALL NATIONS*...teaching them to **OBEY EVERYTHING** {The entire NT} I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very *END OF THE AGE*!”

Love your forum numbering after your name, if that is your name. I respect your beliefs, even more so since you love your Father in heaven and keep His commandments. NOT that you can BE saved by keeping them but because you DO have FREE salvation given to you by your FAITH, for you ARE already a believer then keep them! Right?
Richard (pathetic7744) is his real name, he lives in Florida and has been kicked out of all "churches" because of his false teaching extremes that are obviously not Biblical. He even twist Bible verses by posting them out of context to the subject! We all have proved that many times his false teachings on this forum but of course he has the same old copy and paste he saves on his PC and posts when needed, so basically he ignores you. So Richard just harasses people with the same old copy and paste from years past with the exception of occasionally added a little note in his massive paste jobs to call names and twist what you say which is telling LIES about you! He is like a robot with no discussion, no love of the Father in him what so ever, totally judgmental and useless for telling the gospel message because he is not personal and caring to do so. Another words he thinks he just needs to cram his version and method of Bible verses down your throat and your miraculously saved and therefore a saint!
Let me give you a couple examples of how he twist Bible verses together like he did on your thread Kristofer777. OK.

Do you see his obvious error in his capitol letters of the LAW and ADDS {OT} to it? You see pathetic7744 thinks the Messiah came to do away with ALL OT LAW and replace it ALL with His own NT LAW! Another words the Messiah's Father made a HUGE mistake in EVER making those OT LAWS that His Son needed to change them! NOT! pathetic7744 will tell you further by the quoting of that verse above that in OT times they were "held prisoners by the {**OT**} law" and Christ came to set them free from those terrible LAWS His Father made them keep! The Galatians had NOT known the Jewish Laws given to the Jews originally as they were PAGAN lawless Greeks and NOW all of a sudden Paul is telling the Galatians by letter they do not need to keep the OT LAWS they didn't even know existed??? LOL! And furthermore Paul was a Jew and he would say such a thing about the LAW, when he came to convert them to righteousness??? Really? You see now how pathetic7744 twist Scripture with other Scripture? He has been warned how he will be judged come judgment day for doing so!
So what is the obvious meaning in what Paul is saying? That the LAW is our SUPERVISOR to WHAT sin is and the penalty of death if we willfully break it! But if we are keeping it BY FAITH, then we are no longer under its penalty of death! Because we are living righteously!!! We are NOT sinning then! Correct?
