Look up the word 'PRESENCE', see what tense this word is in. Then look at LORD and GOD, to see what has been hidden in this by the English translations. Post Reply

Here are a few more examples: With Cain: Gen 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance (paniym) fell. With God (again): Gen 4:16 And Cain went out from the presence (Paniym) of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. With Abraham: Gen 23:12 And Abraham bowed down himself before (paniym) the people of the land. What do you think was revealed to you? Post Reply

First of all, there are lots and lots of cults, false religions, false teachers and prophets claiming the Holy Spirit reveals things to them. Why don’t you explain exactly how the “Holy Spirit reveals things to you. Did he appear in person to you and speak? Or did you hear a voice from somewhere and you just assumed it was the Holy Spirit? Did the even Holy Spirit at least identify himself like “Hi Quz, HS here again? Or did you just hear a voice going off in you head and you said to yourself, “ah, that’s the Holy Spirit, I just know it!! Actually Old & NewTestament people who truly heard from the Holy Spirit proved it by working some powerful sign or wonder. Obviously this set them apart from imposters who made claims they couldn’t back up. Impostors can’t do real miracles Post Reply

I have sources that say the Hebrew word for presence only occurs in the plural, whether in reference to living things(God, humans, etc) spiritual beings, as well as non living things. Post Reply

Here is a neutral example. Gen 9:23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces (paniym) were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
