(Ephesians 2:4,5) KJV We're all born dead in our sins. There's nothing we can do to make ourselves Spiritually alive; our salvation is the result of God's love and mercy. Post Reply

But I thought it rude to start a similar thread on the same topic. Therefore I will answer here until I feel I shouldn't. I am not in 100% agreement with you. While I agree salvation comes from G-D, I view it more as an "opportunity for salvation" comes from G-D. In other words, we were dead and without life without G-D. What we do with that new life will determine our "salvation". To many people think if they just confess Jesus with their lips and believe in their hearts that Jesus is Messiah but DO absolutely nothing with the new life G-D has given them, I don't think these people will be able to keep their salvation. Even Paul said to "work" out your salvation with fear and trembling. Post Reply
