Readers will note how the Pinocchio Prophetic repeatedly rejects scripture that says Jesus is called the “Everlasting Father” because those words just don’t agree with the Pinocchio Prophetic’s false teachings Yet Isaiah 9:6 disagrees with the Pinocchio prophetic and reads as follows: For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Chuckk Mucks, on the other hand, rejects the apostle chosen by God the Son, who is none other than the Apostleship Paul!!!!! Seems Chuckk Mucks doesn’t agree with Jesus(God the Son, God the Father or the God Holy Spirit on some other things too, like the Trinity, for example. Of course the Pinocchio prophetic himself also doesn’t agree with what Jesus, the Holy Spirit and even God the Father have to say about the Three Persons of the Trinity. So here we have our own Pinocchio Prophetic and our own entrepreneurial faux pas forum master, Chuckk Mucks who have so much in common that they really ought to join forces and attack me as the dodo duet. Isaiah 9:6 was NOT spoken as a prophecy. If you notice it says; "a child IS born..." Not; "a child WILL BE born". This was spoken about King Hezekiah in culturally acceptable terms for the time. If you want to see this as a prophecy, I have no problem with that. However to see it as proof of a "Trinity" is totally outside of a literal reading of the Text. You are engaging in one of the last three of Jewish PaRDeS whether you realize it or not. Post Reply

When we speak of Jesus, it's not unusual to view Him without the assumption of time, as Jesus is considered greater than time, and the author of such. He is also viewed as unchanging despite time. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If you use a Christian Standard Bible and some other versions, it also translates something like. "For a child will be born for us, a son will be given to us, and the government will be on his shoulders." But if we look at it more closely, the actual use "yalad" (Strong's H3205) is derived from Arabic. I think this may create somewhat of a language barrier when translating. Post Reply

And you won't believe me if I told you so you'll need to study them out for yourself. However in try to keep with the christian spirit here is a quick summation: Judaism changed radically after the second Temple period. In Isaiah's day the King was God's representive on earth. Therefore considered as "Almighty God" is not a problem in the proper context. Furthermore: אֵל (el) does always mean "GOD" nor is it always translated into English as such. Post Reply

When you go to a Christian Forum almost everyone believes that Jesus is God, and that our sins are only forgiven by the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and that every word in Paul's 14 Epistles are the inspired Words of God. When you are teaching a completely different Gospel you ought to be able to defend your doctrines with the Word of God rather than calling people evil names that disagree with you, and trying to close down their Forum. However my point is the literal cultural context meaning does NOT prove a "Trinity". One must engage in Remez, Derash or Sod to say this verse points to a "Trinity". I have no problem with others believing in a Trinity. I just keeping it REAL. Post Reply

He will reign on David's throne and over His Kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness FROM THAT TIME ON AND FOREVER. John 1:1-3,18: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Go, and the WORD WAS GOD. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that as been made... No one has ever seen God, but the One and only Son, who is HIMSELF GOD and is in closest relationship with the Father, has made Him known! John 20:27-29: Jesus said to the doubting Thomas, "Put your finger here in My hands. Reach out your hand and put it into My side. Stop doubting and believe!" Thomas said to Him, My Lord and MY GOD!"
