Salvation is certainly a major issue in the Bible.
How getting saved from God’s coming wrath and eternal torment depends on believing the truth (God’s truth) and acting on the knowledge of that truth
The truth is God can grant repentance because he has provided a way of salvation from his coming fierce anger against unrepentant sinners.
The only way a person can stand before a Holy God is if his acts and works of obedience are TOTALLY righteous (not even one small sin) just exactly like Jesus’ obedient acts and works.
But no person has obeyed God perfectly like Jesus.
So the only person who can stand before a Holy God and not be sent to eternal hell is Jesus.
But Jesus offers his totally righteous life of obedience and holy works to all who repent of their sinful life.
When a person calls out to God and repents of their disobedience, it’s as if Jesus takes the repentant person’s sinful disobedience on himself and takes it to the cross and dies in the place of the sinful person. He then gives his perfect life of perfect obedience to that person.
So now that person can stand before a Holy God TOTALLY forgiven as if that person had obeyed all the commands of God just as perfectly as Jesus did.
Why would any sinner pass up a deal like that????!!!!
Think of it.
You have no way to earn eternal salvation from eternal hell and forgiveness because of your sin (disobedience to God’s law)
BUT Jesus has already taken the penalty that you deserve to the cross. Not only that, but he gives you his perfect Holy life of obedience so you can now stand before a Holy God totally forgiven and UN—condemned

EVERYTHING would also include all the other commands in God's inspired Word from Acts to Revelation as per 2 Timothy 3:16: 4:2: "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work...Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction."
If we really **LOVE** our brothers and sister in Christ we will lovingly teach them to obey all the approximately 400 commands of the NT with **LOVE** in the hope of countless eternal rewards when Jesus comes with great power with all His angels.
Revelation 22:112: Jesus says,"Behold, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to everyone according to what he has done!?
Matthew 16:27: Jesus says, For the Son of Man is going to come in His Father's glory with His angels, and **THEN** He will **REWARD** each person according to what he has done."
Ephesians 4:15: "Speaking the Truth in **LOVE** , we will in all things grow up into Him who is the Head, that is, Christ! From Him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in **LOVE** , as each part does its work."
