Talking theology over beer?? Worldly or not worldly?

Would you follow or listen to a teacher/preacher who promoted or thought it was ok to have a beer tasting fund raiser for a church plant and also promoted tattoos?

I don't believe any preacher who does that is being lead by the Holy Spirit.

I'm only taught scripture by a Man, who is Saved and lead by the Holy Spirit.

Sure, why not? I don't drink beer, but it's his choice. I don't have any tattoos either, but mostly because I don't buy Cracker Jacks anymore (someone might get that).

Preaching in only one aspect of studying scripture. When someone shares anything, it falls upon us to determine if what they share is correct by measuring it against God's Word. If what they said is relevant to God's Truth, then all is good with me.

Ok Parrot.

I hope you enjoyed your in-flight movie . Was any main lobster on the menu this evening? You are flying 1st class I hope!

You didn't have too much to drink and start seeing little green men on the wing of the plane hitching a ride did you?

If you did, I guess you ended up in the Twilight Zone.

That flight plan on the globe will take you WAY out man!!!

Probably why rates are so expensive. I wonder if that was intended?

Put your thinking cap on and pay attention. I won't do ALL of the homework for you. You will have to check out what I present. Here goes...

According to farecompare.com

Only one nonstop flight to:

Sydney Australia to Santiago Chili

7,044 mile flight at 12 hours 40 min. Airline: Quantas , flight #27

On the globe model, if you want a stopover flight then your option is to land in the USA or Canada which is way out of the way as you go into the northern hemisphere then down to Santiago. On a flat earth map it's basically straight across and makes the most sense with the USA /Canada in the middle for a stopover halfway through.

Another one to look into is Johannesburg, South Africa to Perth, Australia

AGAIN directly across....but on the globe model it has you going up and around and back again . The routes that they want you to take on the flight plan from Africa has you going UP toward Dubai , India then DOWN to Malaysia then DOWN further to Australia. Silly wrabbit!

Ok, Parrot...as to your post:

Every intelligent person knows that you travel **WEST** by plane from New York City to New Delhi India with a stop over in Tokyo

End quote

As to the globe model , JFK to India is 18 hours 40 minutes...according to Google. BUT Tokyo is way past India.! How do you get a stop over there??

Riddle me that Batman!

Isaiah Says that the Earth is **CIRCULAR**

Isaiah was inspired by God to say in Isaiah 40:21-22:

"Do you not know? Have you not heard? Has it not been told you from the beginning? Have you not understood since the earth was founded? He sits enthroned above the **CIRCLE OF THE EARTH**, and its people are like grasshoppers. He stretches out the heavens like a canopy!!

So Isaiah clearly calls the Earth a “circle.” This clearly shows that he had a round idea of the Earth. This is interesting for a couple of reasons:

1.First of all, he says God sits above the **CIRCLE OF THE EARTH**. Circle can mean “spherical, round, etc.” So he is clearly calling it something **ROUND**.

2.Secondly, this blows away the arguments by the skeptics that the Prophets thought the Earth has “corners.” Hint: A circle doesn’t have a corner. Therefore, why would a man well versed in the scriptures of God call the Earth a circle if he believed it to be a flat cornered piece of land? He wouldn’t! So obviously he believed the **EARTH WAS CIRCULAR** in nature.

Isaiah oddly uses the term **CIRCLE**, and it is odd that anyone would describe the earth that way unless they actually supposed it was **CIRCULAR** in nature.

There have been thousands of pictures of the earth from outer space and every picture shows a **CIRCULAR ROUND EARTH**!!

Every intelligent person knows that you travel **WEST** by plane from New York City to New Delhi India with a stop over in Tokyo and you can **ALSO** travel **EAST** by plane from New York City to New Delhi India with a stop over in Tel Aviv Israel.! This of course would be impossible if the earth was flat and only possible if the **EARTH WAS CIRCULAR**!!

The brain dead **FLAT EARTHERS** have no answer to the above!!!!
