The thread was not intended as an outlet for false teachers to maliciously promote pagan pacifism by maligning soldiers who keep even them safe!!

Even the Old Testament, as well as the New Testament says we are to live peacefully with our personal enemies.
In fact, OT commanded Israelites to rescue their enemies ox or donkey if it was found wondering and return it to the enemy.
But nowhere in scripture are soldiers to lay down their weapons of war in the face of civil attack.

Christians of course would be behind police apprehending dangerous criminals.
