The dietary laws are not about heaven or hell or being right with GOD, but rather good health. A short perusal of clean and unclean animals quickly reveals most all unclean animals are scavenger animals eating the dead rotting corpses of other animals. Even shrimp (known as the filters of the sea) clean the toxins out of the water and hold it in their bodies. A closer look at Scripture reveals Jesus never changes the dietary laws. And Paul is telling Gentiles who were never under the Law; 'don't worry about it'. It's really not as complicated as some want to make it. GOD loves us and shares a healthy diet for the bodies HE created.

It's like this..if I accidentally eat a pig, I know its not good but rare for me so I don't worry about it......but do I buy it , no. Do I eat shrimp? Not now. I also believe in eating healthy foods and when you get old like me there are certain foods which I used to love that I am advised not to eat. Such as Processed or doctored meat, meat with fat, tomatoes, cheese, white bread and rolls and Pizza etc etc .. :-))))
You can get a 4 pound Barbecued chicken at Sam's Club for just 4.98 Walmart and most other stores charge $8.00 for a 4 pounder. I eat the breast meat and my parrots eat the dark meat. You can get large cans of good fruit like peaches and pineapple for just a dollar at the Dollar Tree.
You can get 7 pounds of Kosher pickles at San's Club for just 4.95. You can also get 2 huge 40 ounce jars of Jif peanut butter for 8.95 at Sam's Club. I also like Walmart's Great Value strawberry preserves 32 ounces for just 2.88. I also get day old Cobblestone rye bread for just $1.00. You can also get Walmart's strawberry ice cream which is just delicious; 48 ounces for $1.98 or *2.24. Walmart has great bananas which are almost always on sale for 42 cents a pound. You can get 11 small bananas for just $1.40! You can also get 18 extra large eggs at Walmart for just $1.34.

My brother in laws both have Macaws. One was named Miss Cherry because she was red. She loved to sit out by his swimming pool. He also had a cockatoo named Baby. She chewed my earring out and it is forever lost. She didn't eat it , just couldn't find it . I forget what his Amazon grey was called. He also had Himalayan cats from Aunt Judy that he had trimmed to look like lions. They looked so funny!!
