I Cor 12:13 For by one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for you are all one in Christ Jesus Col 3:11 Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all. There is no racial, ethnic, language, national or any other kind of supremacy(white, black, hispanic, asian, american, indian, european, african, arab, russian, chinese, etc. you name the people group, nation or language) in Christ. Every member of the Body of Christ partakes of the same spiritual blessings. (Ephesians 1:3) Rev 7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. People called themselves, Believers, brothers, sisters, of the way. The world called them christians. Where the so called church came from, i do not know. Post Reply

Matthew 16:18 King James Version (KJV) 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. I can't remember but I think you said you use the NASB, so here it is also. Matthew 16:18 New American Standard Bible (NASB) 18 I also say to you that you are [a]Peter, and upon this [b]rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. Post Reply

Did NOT Yah'shua say something like - where there are two or three gathered in my name, there I will be also??? So your verse you posted does NOT give the whole picture of WHAT a "church" actually is. it is not in context to the subject of what a "church" is in just ONE verse. Right? The Bible says here a little there a little when we study ANY subject. We gather COMPLETE evidence verses (not just some like P7744 does for his agenda! Lol!) for the subject study at hand. Correct? The "church" can also be this forum and that's why I attend here! Not like the CULT like preachers do in sermons of false doctrine and misinterpretation of Scripture. They "tickle" the ears the "church" members because so called "Christians" want to hear the once saved always saved doctrine and other doctrine and continue to live in sin because they have a license now to do so! LOL! Our new "poster" has delivered to us "church members" a powerful sermon and its obvious he was inspired to do so. Notice everything he post of it is spot on to the subject be discussed. There is no dribble in long posts that puts people to sleep, nor misinterpretation of Scripture. Very well done! Post Reply

Sure there is probably more verses on the subject of "Christ is head of one body, the church" in the Bible but you have done a wonderful job in delivering that message. Very good verse telling us about the true "church" which this verse identifies as Peter which is a PERSON/SOUL (people) of which Peter is ROCK solid in correct doctrine of what the Bible says on any given subject. Yah'shua builds upon and through "Peter" the "church" and today also through other people who follow truth and keep Yah'shua's 10 commandments (ALL TEN!) even today! And the gates of the grave (Hades) nor death will not overpower His "church" which is His people. His church is not a building of stone, its PEOPLE made of flesh! GNWS is correct. Post Reply
